Brzenk Is my all time favorite. He is David who conquered and dominated much BIGGER Goliaths in his Prime. I like Voevoda, he's the man. Devon Larrat is REALLY the man, and much respect goes out to Rich Lupkes who's at 54 years old and still kicking ass!

You can tell from devon's expressions in the video that he felt there was something wrong with John, like he wasn't at full strength or something like that

devon larratt was definitely better on that day and he is the number 1 armwrestler...and he is going to rip michael todd's arm off when they pull for the number 1 spot in july...but in all fareness the video was better without the song...it is a nice song though

John was healthy when he loosed to Devon .. not maybe in best shape , but after that he defeated D. CYPLENKOV but Devon Toyed with him and Devon got stronger since then .. Looking forward to those matches as well, neither Voevoda or Larrat are the strongest , they just know how to pull their technicques at the right time. I think Larrat cheats a bit more cause he makes more elbow moves during the fight

Yes, Larratt is absolutely has taken over the leading position from Brzenk. A Cyplenkov - Larratt or Cadorette - Larratt would be interesting though.
Last year in the chat forum during Nemiroff World Cup competition I red that Larratt promised that he would be there in Poland this year. Does anybody know something about this who are close to Larratt's camp?
It would be really great to have him in Europe and see the outcome of his battles with the Beasts from the East.
@pusaron There are no promises regarding Larratt and Zloty, I don't think he will go this year. He was asked if he would go after his match with Travis and he said that he wasn't sure. Sounded like he wasn't going. I wish he would take some leave from work for once and make an appearance. :))

Devon is a giant version of John Brzenk, I would put Devon as favorite in that match of 6 rounds, but would be close in my opinion. John Brzenk said that if Alexey Can't get Devon down in a second or two then he think Devon would win. Larratt is killing everyone at the moment, I think Alexey would have his work cut out.

@ahladisme It's all just opinion and speculation :) They both have not faced anyone as strong as each other so I think anything can happen really. Devon surely has more technique, but also a lot of power. If you know anyone that's wealthy tell them to organize a match between the two, $50,000 US for the winner $25,000 for the loser. :)
Devon and Jerry were meant to be having a supermatch sometime over Christmas or the New Year, but i haven't seen anything more about it, anyone know what happened with it ?
@ryan12629 Cyplenkov lost to Michael Todd at the Arnold's and almost lost to Lupkes. Although he did show up smaller than usual according to Neil Pickup. I watched the video and he did look smaller. If Devon went, he would have killed Cyplenkov. And I think would win match against Cyplenkov quite easily.

I doubt Larratt was afraid of Cyplenkov. Larratt would have beat this version of Cyplenkov easily at the Arnold's. Apparentely he has a very tight work schedule, that only allows him to compete at cetain events, I think he may work for the army.
Just watched the full video of Larratt vs Bagent at UAL from last week. Devon is unbelievably strong with the right, and basically held Travis in one place like he was playing around then slammed him to the pad. Devon has got to be the strongest right on earth.
Devon's always going to be the favourite now when pulling John. John's got 30 years of wear and tear on his arm and it's catching up with him. He's constantly battling with injuries and he's slipping down the rankings because of it.
I still believe if he's 100%, 230lbs with no injuries then he could have a war with Devon and would have every chance of winning.
There's just no point if he's injured or 210lbs because you can guarantee Devon will be coming in ready.

I love all the comments that prove how quickly people seem to forget the domination that was Brzenk for over 2 decades, simply because he lost to Voevoda. Some can't even remember that the first pull between the two, Brzenk was losing, rolled Voevoda back to even, but couldn't stop him from pulling out with just a 3 finger grip.

John was healthy when he loosed to Devon .. not maybe in best shape , but after that he defeated D. CYPLENKOV but Devon Toyed with him and Devon got stronger since then .. Devon also toyed with Richard and Richard won against Brzenk in 2008 .. and wasnt far away from beating Cyplenkov.. DEVON NR 1 .. DESERVED

That line up is far more formidable then a Semerenko & lightweight Taras & Girdner at Zloty, so out goes your theory of 'who can do that' they all have, any other points you have to argue?

Yes, Larratt is absolutely has taken over the leading position from Brzenk. A Cyplenkov - Larratt or Cadorette - Larratt would be interesting though.
Last year in the chat forum during Nemiroff World Cup competition I red that Larratt promised that he would be there in Poland this year. Does anybody know something about this who are close to Larratt's camp?
It would be really great to have him in Europe and see the outcome of his battles with the Beasts from the East.

@pusaron There are no promises regarding Larratt and Zloty, I don't think he will go this year. He was asked if he would go after his match with Travis and he said that he wasn't sure. Sounded like he wasn't going. I wish he would take some leave from work for once and make an appearance. :))

@ahladisme Voevoda would need to be at his best to beat Larratt, Voevoda from 2004 never faced anyone as strong as today's Devon. Devon is a giant version of John Brzenk, I would put Devon as favorite in that match of 6 rounds, but would be close in my opinion. John Brzenk said that if Alexey Can't get Devon down in a second or two then he think Devon would win. Larratt is killing everyone at the moment, I think Alexey would have his work cut out.

@ahladisme It's all just opinion and speculation :) They both have not faced anyone as strong as each other so I think anything can happen really. Devon surely has more technique, but also a lot of power. If you know anyone that's wealthy tell them to organize a match between the two, $50,000 US for the winner $25,000 for the loser. :)

@ryan12629 Cyplenkov lost to Michael Todd at the Arnold's and almost lost to Lupkes. Although he did show up smaller than usual according to Neil Pickup. I watched the video and he did look smaller. If Devon went, he would have killed Cyplenkov. And I think would win match against Cyplenkov quite easily.

I doubt Larratt was afraid of Cyplenkov. Larratt would have beat this version of Cyplenkov easily at the Arnold's. Apparentely he has a very tight work schedule, that only allows him to compete at cetain events, I think he may work for the army.

Just watched the full video of Larratt vs Bagent at UAL from last week. Devon is unbelievably strong with the right, and basically held Travis in one place like he was playing around then slammed him to the pad. Devon has got to be the strongest right on earth.

Devon's always going to be the favourite now when pulling John. John's got 30 years of wear and tear on his arm and it's catching up with him. He's constantly battling with injuries and he's slipping down the rankings because of it.
I still believe if he's 100%, 230lbs with no injuries then he could have a war with Devon and would have every chance of winning.
There's just no point if he's injured or 210lbs because you can guarantee Devon will be coming in ready.

I love all the comments that prove how quickly people seem to forget the domination that was Brzenk for over 2 decades, simply because he lost to Voevoda. Some can't even remember that the first pull between the two, Brzenk was losing, rolled Voevoda back to even, but couldn't stop him from pulling out with just a 3 finger grip.
