It is not a mistake, the satellite photo takes several picture within second in Red Green Blue and normal light. As the plane goes very fast, these photos are not in the same plane...

A mistake on google earth or google maps is physically impossible. they're satelite pictures, not maps based on satelite pictures.

Its not a mistake so much as it is that you are simply seeing the shadow of the plane. Why the shadow looks brighter than it should I don't know....but I've seen the same phenomenon with other planes in Google Earth. I have no Idea why the Satilite imagery make the shadow of airplanes seem so bright.....I'd love to know the answer though if anyone out there does know.
