I'm suprized, this video makes the 'speaker' (single speaker) not sound so quite and bad, but in real life it sounds worse than most camcorder inbuilt speakers. I thought it would usually be the other way around in a video. Also, I think they could have easily made the speaker more efficient by having a proper speaker opening rather than assuming most the noise would flow out the data port, I think they wanted minimal gaps in the case, looks over performance!. They could have used a NXT speaker.

yeah, i have the same problem with my speakers. sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. and when they don't, there's no volume control.

Yh I have that problem wen the internal speakers stop working and volume control vanishes, it's just a bug that occurs when you pull headphones out mid song sometimes. Easy fix just restart the iPod by holding the lock button and fully powering off and back on.

the 3g has only been out a short time so if you have had it less than a month return it and get a new one. If the speakers are not working that is a hardware problem an i wouldn't try fixing that yourself due to the fact that it will void the warranty!

also if he opens it, the battery usually gets messed up.

All those issues are hardware problems and they are covered in the warranty and apple will glady give you a new one at no cost just take it I'm to them.

*They will only replace it if there is no damage to the device if there is they will claim it was your fault!

problem:the internal speakers dont work anymore.
