rosydonut, unfortunately, we do have puppy mills and pet factories in the UK. Have you seen the BBC program, an expose of the commercial breeding industry in England? Watch it and weep. The big English dog show is no longer going to be televised because of this investigative report. Google it, it's a fascinating program about the horrors going on in England, where I am from.

oh yh actually..now i remember a thing on the news about illegal puppy farms..and im sure pets at home arnt exactly free of guilt in that area either.

One by one they fall. Congrats everyone. Whether it be through shelters or through mixed or pure breed rescue groups, adoption is the choice. The misery that buying enables is beyond comprehension for most. ADOPT DON'T SHOP.

Well this was the most fun and successful rally yet, in one year 8 stores down or humane! More to go, great fun group of animal loving people. We are going to have a puppy store free 2009!

The Puppy Store in Los Angeles, where these happy animal lovers are gathered singing, decided to go humane. They will no longer sell puppy mill dogs as a reult of pressure from the animal protection movement.

Congratulations!

Get your friends, stand outside a store that sells live animals now and do the same thing.

Never buy while shelter dogs die. Adopt and save a life. That's the true Christmas spirit.
