Great video, but I would take off the lids of the shoe boxes so its more balanced. I have something like that and it worked better with no lids.

--> also if you took of the lids the inside box area could be stuff for your doll.

well my bunkbeds work with the shoebox lids on but if you want to take them off that's fine with me

No but if you have different sized shoe boxes the top bunk will fall down.
