My favourite ep so far. Rachel - albeit a cliche`, suits the role of a fairy goodmother so good and kind even archangel Gabriel would feel the need to clean his glory before meeting her. And I loved the fact Edgar wasn``t gay, but just someone taking advantage of whatever came along - at least until something better turns up. So where will the story go from here? Are we heading for a twist or happy loving days with Jack and Larsen? Cant wait to find out! Honestly.:-)

a big cam and sorting out timings with a few editors would make this an absolutely fantastic film, but otherwise i have to say a massive congrats anyway. without seeing the comments i was in question as to whether this was proffesional or not; its truly outstanding

I like Jack, but he's kinda a jerk since he uses Edgar seemingly only for sex. I think Laersen is slowly-very slowly-coming to terms with his sexuality and, more importantly, with his feelings for Jack, although, Jack could have one of those "OMG, I'm gay" moments. This is wonderful for an independent film/series. Someone should buy this. It could be the next "Skins"-or maybe even better.

Larsen & jack= natural chemistry

thou i worry bout things lyk lacking students etc, but if given d chance to chose bet. unknwn chrctr prancing or give all screen time to Larsen & jack, id chose L & J. ^_^

i ddnt rely considered at 1st d limitations of indpendnt film. u guys r juz trying to get by. i wish u cn receiv additional funding after receiving praises from viewers. this production deserves funding with extended epi time. i hope some network buys it, so ull get much bigger budget

I just find it kinda weird to have the scenes jump so easily from one another.

And the lack of other students didn't help the case.

But honestly im in love with Jack and Larsen and the scriptwriters. I notice in epi 3 the director played as the soccer coach, and Smaltz helps with writing the script too? hehe.

pls take a look at my observations carefully, I hope something can be done during 2nd season. hehe. will be waiting.

The guys who played Jack and Larsen have chemistry. Ive seen enough BL movies to know which character clicks well with the actors. They definitely fit like old gloves. ^_^

its basically a story very similar to this one, cept its english, its intertwine in an english soap opera( hollyoaks) and its bout the same storyline as this one, only much longer and more people ar involved, look uo john paul and craig on here u should be able to find something

Hollyoaks Craig and JP. Folks compare every "coming out" since 07 to Holly. "TinselTown" and other shows did "coming out" (w/ or w/o devastated girls) long b4. Many did it better. Holly=Good but not "the original".

Craig was ashamed, violent/manipulative, strung his girl and JP (gay best friend who loved him) along boffing and lying to both for months.

Larsen is confused/scared but folks know Jack and Larsen are in love despite him. Larsen never cheated or lied or attacked his girlfriend.

So many times this clip could have taken off. There were several good 'jumping off' places but it never does. It warms up and warms up but never goes.

What would you have liked to see?

First, IMO, Larson is the strongest character, perhaps too strong for the rest. This guy needs something to exploit his personality. Yes a little fine tuning here and there but this guy is very good. The right play with him in a good role and it's over. He is way too powerful for these others. Or maby the play is OK but he needs something more. He's rough around the edges but so is a diamond untill its wonder is reveled. Tthis guy is going places. He just needs material and a 'rudder.'

I think I would have liked more progress on Larsen's part in this ep. Not a full on closet fling open.

Fareed, Gabby have all pretty much told Larsen he's in love with Jack. Edgar clearly knew when Larsen showed up in the middle of the night. Rachel called him out and he stepped up by going to the play. That should have been more of a turning point.

I would like to see Larsen have more of an overt "Oh fuck..." moment just to himself about Jack, before prom. Hope I'm making sense.

@hpribot I think this was the best ep so far. The previous one, Soccer Practice, was tragically bad written. This had direction, progression and point. And we even learned a little more of the characters. How Jack could be with Edgar - a guy framing his eyes with eye liner - when he is in love with the lot more mainstream, Larsen - seemed odd to me. But then I`m from a city - with lots more choice. Cool that Edgar wasn`t really gay, just horny for fun untill something, for him, better came along

the scenes i love the best are the ones where larsen isn't aware of how he's behaving and why.

Specifically

1) this scene where literally the site of edgar touching jack for a sec too long sends larsen fleeing from the stage.

2) the soccer tryouts where he almost knocks poor rachael over like 3 times to be the keeper of jack's things and to rescue him from the aftermath of gabby's ire!

it's like his impulses and instincts know he loves jack ever tho his brain can't really handle it yet.
