Nice tutorial. Short and to the point. I have a student who wants to learn this plug and I was dreading it because I assumed (from the promo video w/ the DJ's) that it was difficult but you really did a great job demystifying it.
I'm a novice at using these type of effects in music, but have grown to find these effects cool when it comes to beats.....but its one trick that I have yet to find. Can anyone tell me what the fx trick is called when the beat stops as if the dj stops a 45 with his hand? its a very cool dj simulation fx that i want to incorporate into my sound.....im trying to color up my tracks...get @ me...
I just bought stutter edit 2 days ago and am having a hella time adding flavor to beats and to see what this thing can do with vocals is bad ass. I even figured out how to get a chipmunk sound which is useless, but FUUUUNNNNY as heck.
This is all I need to get started on building my own presets now.
As an idea, would it be possible to ship future products with a video tutorial as well as the PDF manual? You know as well as I do that NO ONE likes to read through those things!
