  • song pressure please!

  • Was this song free when you downloaded it?

  • I'm pretty sure this guitar has a tambourine part and thats why the chorus is so overcharted. They're tabbing the tambourine as high-hat

  • Did you dowloaded the song?

  • I like this song, but the drums are horribly mischarted in some parts.

  • I'm sorry but your drummer is so fucking bad men i owned it!!!!

  • STO SI ES BUENOO NO ME GUSTO ESE VIDEO MUY PATETICO ¬.¬

  • How do you film it without it showing anything else but the game? :S

  • Your drummer hits rolls and fills quite well, but not basic ones. Does it overhit or something?

  • Wow Overcharted on drums much?

  • much better that rock band 2

  • And I'll add to the chorus debate: I've been drumming for almost 12 years and have a pretty good ear for thing and I also love Paramore. Zac playing 16th hats in the chorus never ever crossed my mind. But I did just google a live version from 2009 and he definitely is playing them. When they make these charts, they have the individual stems. I assume you can really hear them if the drums are isolated.

  • Man. We need more Paramore on Rock Band now. Zac played such fun stuff on the drums.

And I'll agree with @gordofredito. I bought RB3 just because I could sense GH going out, and I just put that kit away to play GH again. Their kit is just so much sturdier. I've had it for over two years and it doesn't drop notes. I can't even play songs with 16th notes on the hat on RB. Always drops.

  • Charts here not that bad, the guitar on chorus doesn't have that odd hammeron I always choke on, and I actually think the crowd singing added to it

  • Liked this on RB (though its an easy song) an it looks good here too. Cool song

  • I played the Rock Band version in practice mode, and the drum stem is 8th notes on the hi-hat, with 16ths in the background stem. But I can see a disco beat being played in all the live videos I've seen. So both charts are right in their own way.

  • typical GH, chart the 16ths but remove them from the sound mix...

  • what the hell is the "disco beat" ?

  • @AeroxLight It's when the hi-hat has 16th notes played with both hands, and the right hand goes down to hit the snare. When played on basic drums in Rock Band, the chart is "disco-flipped", with the hi-hat charted to red and the snare on yellow.

  • the mix is odd, it a bit to slow for this song, ad IT CHATR FLIPP[ING BASS!! there IS guitar in the verses you now you can here it twang....., twang.... ,.TWANG

i am gonig to buy this cuz i lve pararmore

  • Guitar Hero Is History !

  • woah, activision got a little hat-happy in those choruses

  • Again, a more entertaining guitar chart than Rock Band. Guitar Hero never fails in that regard.

  • @NightmareSnake

What? They charted rhythm guitar on the chorus, how is that supposed to be better?

  • @FiReMaKeR Because it's more entertaining to play than the lead part. Videogames are supposed to be entertaining, right?

  • @NightmareSnake ...It's a simple song, lead isn't any less fun to play than rhythm.

  • Super different drum chart

  • Tom rolls are so funny on the Guitar Hero drums.

  • Elfson, you are seriously the man! Ever since I stumbled across your videos early-mid 2009, only a handful of times have I purchased DLC before watching your videos. You saved me a fair amount of money! Thank you for all your effort with the videos!

  • AORB ;3

  • Well, this drums chart makes up for "She's A Genius". Oddly, I think the RB2 expert chart had a few more ghost snares than this one.

  • it isn´t guitar hero

  • both guitar charts are piss ez, its hard to compare piss guyz

  • I could FC the drums and bass

  • I'm happy they charted the drums correctly on this.

  • WTF this chart sucks, the one in rock band is tons better because they charted the LEAD guitarist during the chorus!!! which means that the mixing also sucks since you can´t really hear the awesome guitar parts in the chorus!

  • Horrible guitar chart.

    Good riddance.

  • dat Disco beat

  • I'd like to dedicate this to Activision

    "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET"

  • @gordofredito Quite frankly the only thing HMX did better was in offering better exports and more songs. GH gameplay, animations, etc. were better imo. Of course... that's not saying much as they're both quite good. And at the end of the day, it's the songs that make the game.

  • @Icarus19911991

...but it's the gameplay that makes the game fun. I've always found RB's gameplay generally inferior, on the Wii at least. They seem to have a lot of good ideas, but I've often seen them done better in other games. I like many of the songs Harmonix pick, but I find the games lacking. And no, I'm not interested real guitar.

The problem with RB is the fanboy apologists who will explain away ANY criticism as if you are just being picky, but will then happily criticise GH.

  • Well this was a dissapointment. Lets hope that if GH ever get revived they will release something less dissapointing than this as DLC.

  • Ok, why did they chart 16th notes to the hi-hat???? LOL

  • @mestock23

Because you can hear something like a drum machine 16th beat on the song, at least on RB2. Don't know how the drummer plays it IRL, though. Listening to the song, I've always thought there was a disco beat in the chorus..

However, some fills are totally different, is this a whole different master of the song?

  • @FiReMaKeR

I'm sorry but the drummer is not playing a disco beat there. When you're playing a disco beat, you want to people to actually hear the disco beat. All you can hear during that section is a straight 8th note rock beat. HMX charted it the right way, without the disco beat.

  • @mestock23 You are incorrect, sir. Listen closely. The disco beat is there.

  • @drfreshey

If you're referring to the mix that is used for their official music video (search for it), then yes, their drummer plays a disco beat. However, during the parts where they chart disco beat, there is no audio of a disco beat present in this mix. They must be different mixes.

  • @drfreshey the disco beat in the studio version is a drum machine.

  • @CCDaDon15 You know in your heart though that the disco beat makes the song more interesting

  • @toymasheenSH eh. they way they did it here made it awkward on how your transition out of the disco beat into the beat that takes place after it. I don't mind the charting as much as I dislike how they charted it and then took the drum machine totally out of the mix.

  • @FiReMaKeR watch the video, zac's not playing 16s durin the chrous

  • @FiReMaKeR scratch that they never show him during that part in the chorus, which is stupid

  • 3 note chords for a single note?

    gh no wonder you're dead

  • @Zanny77 lol so true. :D

  • @Zanny77 OMG ONE EXTRA FINGER HAS TO BE PRESSED DOWN!!!! HOW DARE THEY

  • @toymasheenSH 2 extra

  • @Zanny77 >looks up tab > sees two guitarists >sees chords

  • @toymasheenSH

    >watch video

    >whammy for star power

    >implied the 3 note chord is for the single note

    >green text

    >ohboyherewego.jpg

  • @Zanny77 >implying the rhythm guitarist isn't being charted

  • As a more releveant comment, the chorus is much more fun on Guitar elsewhere.

  • It's up now!
