I don't like the way they redid the opening sequence. Antony Hamilton imitates Jon-Erik's scenes in the intro one to one. Hamilton's character was a real macho, while Hexum made Mac Harper a likeable and funny guy. I liked Hexum much better in the show. Btw, Jennifer O'Neill is still gorgeous, IMO. She's withdrawn from acting, though, and does speeches on her Christian faith and how it helped her cope with her problems.

I don't like it either. I don't remember when they aired this in '84, but now, looking back on it and comparing it with the one with Jon-Erik, I'm appalled at how close to the original they made it. It's actually shocking. Of course, I shouldn't be surprised, 20th Century Fox treated Jon-Erik's death so terribly, this is just one more reminder of that. And poor Anthony Hamilton, forced into that position and the series dies. Sad.

I wonder if they redid the sequences that way to keep the network execs happy. When Mr Hexum died, the network would have already placed the order for the episodes. With that financial pressure, the producers probably didn't want to signal strongly there had been a change of leading man. I don't approve of how closely they made the new sequence, either, but there must have been these issues behind the scenes.

Yo he querido coseguir la version EG Daily desde hace tiempo pero hasta ahora no he tenido suerte, hay que ver si salio a la venta o fue hecha solo para la serie, eso no lo se. La serie estaba en venta en DVD en USA, no se si se puede desgar de algun lado, hasta ahora no encontre ningun sitio en la web.

si parece que se filmo una sola temporada ya que en USA no tuvo mucho exito esta serie, todo lo contrario a lo que secedio en el resto de los paises donde emitio. Lamentablemente los dos protagonistas masculinos que tuvo se murieron muy jovenes. Hexun durante el rodaje de la serie y Hamilton murio a causa del sida 10años despues.

En ralidad por lo que averigué el tema de Bonnie Tyler y la serie son contemporaneos. Porque según la enciclopedia Wikipedia el disco de Bonnie Tyler que contiene el tema "Holding Out For A Hero" es de 1984 y la serie se filmó entre mediados de 1984 y los primeros meses de 1985, porque Jon-Erik Hexum se mató en octubre de 1984 y al mes aproximadamente ya lo remplazó Tony Hamilton.

Yo he tratado de averiguar como se llama el tema musical y sobre quien es la interprete pero no he tenido suerte. Lo que si recuerdo que fue allá por mediados de los ochenta un tema que sonó mucho, cuano yo era chico lo escuché muchas veces por la radio y en distintos lados, ademas de en la serie Cover Up, aunque fue ésta la que lo hizo famoso.
