Have question about this Slingcatcher.

Can I use it over the web? for example if i have slingbox pro hd in boston, and I am in in other place where i do have internet. can i just gram slingcatcher and connect it to slingbox over the internet using slingcatcher?

The slingcatcher spec sheet on the sling media website says that the sling projector software is not compatible with any Apple OS. You need to have a windows based OS. I called the slingmedia hotline and they confirmed that this is the case. Can you tell me who is right and who is wrong because my intial plan was to use a mini mac with my slingcatcher here in Germany to watch US television. Any further insight into this issue would be appreciated.

@langleyafbhomes The sling projector software does not work on mac. One other problem is that if you have a sling box hd pro and you want to sling Hd content to your Mac forget it. However, it works fine with a pc. I have both the slingbox hd pro, the slingcatcher, my macbook pro and a sony vaio and it works great with the Sony and half as good with the Mac. Sling Media needs to come out with some software for the MAC
