@minecraft4life1000 it's not an apostrophe it's a daketen( forgive me if I spelled it wrong) it makes the word sound more hardly pronounced so ta with a daketen would be da and ko with a daketen would be pronounced go

I think that you should start using hiragana and katakana...and maybe teach a bit of kanji. The romaji isn't confuzzling, I just like using hiragana more than romaji. Amaazing videos btw. :)

Your right about not understanding Tohoku dialect :P But I have a friend from Iwate and i can understand her perfectly though... My mom said she can understand what her mom says too so my mom and I thinks everywhere in Tohoku except Iwate it's hard to understand :P

My ancestry is from Fukushima, yet I am only fluent to 3rd grade. It seemed oddly easy to listen to Tsugaru-ben, though, because of hearing my parents speaking in Tohoku-ben all the time.

And very interesting video. Poor them having to always change their speaking if they talk to someone outside of Tohoku. In Sweden we have a few dialects too that can be almost impossible for others to understand. Japanese is hard as it is!

I always hate Dialects/Accents they are so annoying but its funny to make fun of but still that's still mean. Another reason i hate romaji it messes up your accent(makes it worse), Too bad i found that out when i already got use to it but i still fixed it a little thanks to Japanesepod101 they told me not to make the Fu by touching lips to teeth, and a lot of other things.
