We use to go to sipadan from tawau using high speedboats just to fish the yellow fins using the same method that the locals used.That was 15 years ago and you can easily catch yellow fin of the 50 kg size.

But to catch a yellowfin of that size with hand line is no easy task.We take our hats to those fishermen from mabul for bringing in 80kg yellowfin by handline in a matter of 30 mins.
