  • Yea sure! But the looks at the new ship... it looks like a shoe box, the old ones have shape like a beutie

  • The SofN could fit in the atrium of Royal Caribbeans new Oasis of the Seas. Times sure change.

  • same here! Worked on norway in 90 in the caribbean, it was a lot of party days... saturday all week:)) and a lot of woman.. I was working in the engine room as a pipefitter/welder/technhician. it was the best times ever.

  • song of norway is now under the peaceboat company as the clipper pacific unfortunately the viking crown was removed from the funnel under the terms of sales to airtours from rci in the mid nineties.

  • I worked on this ship as a pianist back in 1975 on it's carribean runs. Talk about party days! The early days of the cruise industry were quite special to me. They eventually cut the ship in two and added a piece in the middle to make it larger I believe. Has it been taken out of service permanently now? Thank you for the video clip.

  • great video ruined by saxophone 'jack off' 80's sitcom music

  • Very nice to se that good looking ship again. I worked there back in 1988. Those were the good old party days.

  • Cool! This must've been a while ago since the Song of Norway has been with a different cruise line with a different name for a while.

  • Agreed! The music is very 80's-tastic!

  • Massive propellers!
