Lovely video! Makes me homesick - though I live in Bozeman, MT, I get over to Scotland occasionally to visit relatives. This was a new Alsdair Fraser piece for me.
Alasdair - as one of the Priests that fought to bring Celtic Orthodoxy to the U.S. I hear the core of my heart in you music. God Bless you! And keep playing the soul of the Celts.
I love this song. I have always wanted to go to Scotland, as I have relatives who, a long time ago, made their way from there to the US. But, if for no other reason than what I see and hear on this video, I would go.
Can you tell me if this is from a particular album? I have almost everything I can find that Alasdair Fraser has recorded, but I don't have this piece. Thank!
I just lost my Mom last month and I have to thank you for this beautiful video! Alasdair's voice and fiddle have been a great comfort to me and has soothed my soul. Thank you again.
Ah.... rising to the other side of sorrow... so beautiful an idea. I love Alasdair and his voice (both that of his fiddle and his soul)... and that's such a beautiful lightning storm you set the intro to... Thanks for the beautiful thoughts and images.

music that uplifts the spirit in which man should be, because the man was created for this
