  • ДОННА !!! КАКОЙ КРАСИВЫЙ ГОЛОС !!!)))))))))))))))

  • a woman without age

  • ou Donna Summer you are for ever for ever my greathlady youare the best!!!!!!kisses

  • how gorgeous does donna look?

  • Out of all the Divas - Whitneys voice is no more - Mariahs neither - Celine struggles - Aretha screams - yet Donna Summers been able to keep her voice very true to when she first started.

  • This is how Whitney should still sound!!!!

  • welcome back miss donna! sing for new generation gurL! love yar muuuzik! the queen is back!!!

  • I am a big fan of Donna Summer, that's why I am going to be honest about these new songs. They are far to over produced and almost distort Donna's voice. She does not need her voice altered or covered up with rap sounds, her voice is perfect as it is. Try again, and next time keep it simple Donna!

  • @GenieInaBottle65 yes , from what i hear here they distorted her voice. it happens a lot in pop music and i hate it because theybecome too heavy and fake

  • bravooo girl ;)

  • porke no se pondra un poco a dieta esta muy gorda estaria mas wapa mas delgada

  • I'm glad that Donna Summer had released this cd last year. Since the disco days she had explored different musical styles to expand her vocal talents. I personally like when she sings rock based material like ''The Wanderer'',''Cold Love'' and ''Leave Me Alone''. Only true fans know these songs. I also like her r&b based material in the 80's. She is one of the very few female singers that can sing pretty much any musical style and pull it off. This cd Crayons was something new and sounds great.

  • Donna is amazing. She may have stumbled, but we all do. WHO HANS'T??? But she has handled her stumbles with grace and her voice and artistry lets everyone know that she invites us all to transcend with her.....

  • I am gonna go buy 30 copies of this album. follow me.

  • I Just Love Donna Summers & Her Music!! She Is The Greatest Female R&B / Disco Singer Of All Times!!! You Go, Gurl!!! All Your Fans Loves You!!! :)

  • I'm overjoyed by this come-back of my all-time female singer favourite.

  • Donna Summer was and still is the queen of pop, before beyonce, britney spears, etc;the queen is back, and she sounds as great bas she ever did.she rocks!!!!!

  • Welcome back Donna! Wow! It's exciting to see her back in action again.

  • welcome back your highness. your simple the best..

  • really like the i love music track. listen when you have been the best with hit after hit after hit it is hard to keep topping yourself i would imagine. this is pretty good. i hope to hear more from donna summer!

  • ladies, as an authentic Ms Summer fan {i bought my first donna album in 1977}Crayons is my second fav album after "once upon a time" Good work Your Highness

  • Don't forget the ''Bad Girls'' album. Very eclectic album in 1979.

  • Donna is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those who don't like her lastest cd ''Crayons'' must be smoking ''meth''. Out of 5 stars which ranks the highest i will give Donna 4 stars for this cd. Her voice is still in fine tuning at 60 years young. Not many female singers have that gift when they get older. Appreciate what has been presented to you.

  • patti still standing to

  • Don't get me wrong, i love Patti LaBelle to death (especially her personality). But in the last few years or so when she sings live, she just start yelling. If you haven't been to a Donna Summer concert,go to one. She will never let you down. She is always on point. Check her out on her youtube videos and concert performances. She is one of the few female artists i can say never sounds bad vocally. Thanks for your comment.

  • Yeah I agree with you there, my two favourite female singers Donna Summer and Deborah Harry always have beautiful voices and there both hot and sexy! Donna had a softer breathier voice in the 70's while Debbie had a harder voice in the 70's and now it's reversed! Donna has a harder stronger voice now and Debbie has a softer breathier voice now. I wish they would sing a duet together, and since Blondie sang I Feel Love (live) Donna should sing Heart Of Glass to get back at them. I equal them.

  • It's not her voice that's the problem, it's the lack of music on this album. She recorded this album ''Crayons'' without any musicians in the recording studio, there is no real drums in any of the tracks, it's all computer generated music just like Britney Spears and Lady Ga Ga, this is not the sound a fan of Donna Summer would expect to hear from her. The live version of Stamp Your Feet on the David Letterman show was much better sounding because it had her band backing her up on the song.

  • I'm not knocking Donna Summer heaven forbid! I love her forever and she still and always will have an amazing set of vocals. I just don't like this new album she made, I don't mean to be so harsh but being a huge fan of Donna Summer I was greatly disapointed with this album, I was expecting a resurgence to the disco sound of the old Donna Summer. Instead when I bought it and played it in my CD player I said to myself ''What the fuck is this shit?'' She has forgotten about her old fan base.

  • As a member of "her old fan base", I have to say that I am amazed by the new album. It is much more personal lyrically than anything she has done in the past, and I love the overall sound of it. I know, opinions are like assholes... everybody has one... and I certainly don't discount yours. I simply think that this is the first Donna Summer CD that has come wholly from inside her and it comes across that she enjoyed the process. Peace to all.

  • Well said! I guess it just really comes down to diffrence of opinion. I'm glad that you and everybody else like's this new brand of Summer music. But for me i'm just too old fashioned to enjoy this. I just hope her next LP will sound like ''The Wanderer''.

  • It's more like her old fan base has forgotten about her, in a sense. She was always versatile and not just dance (disco) music. If you don't know that, you don't REALLY know Donna Summer.

  • You can't blame the fans for crap music that she has made. Donna Summer was recording pop and disco music back in the day which is what everybody expected from her but then in 1980 her contract at Cassablanca with Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte was finished and she then went on to venture into diffrent musical styles and that's when her music started sucking, though she managed to make one really great record called ''Another Place And Time'' without Pete and Giorgio in 1989.

  • Donna has always done more than disco music. Even back in the days of disco. Besides, an artis should be allowed to be an artist. If that means doing more than one genre of music, then so be it. Another Place And Time is a good recording, but others might think it sucks as compared to your opinion of it. Different people. Different views.

  • Okay I understand what you just said but let's get one thing straight - I never said that Donna wasn't an artist and that she couldn't spread her artistic wings further in the music industry, I said that it is not the fans fault and that the fans do not take any responsibility for the actions of the artist or band. If Donna Summer wants to make diffrent music then that's fine but the fans don't have to like it. I also said that most of her fans would of expected disco music from her I mean Cmon!

  • Ok. I never said that you said anything. And I get it. You don't have to like the music Donna Summer makes. But if fans expected disco music then I would question their being a fan. That's because a fan of Donna Summer would buy what she's been releasing and already know ahead of time that disco music is not all they would be getiing from her. An actual fan would know that. So, I guess there are various levesl of fandom, if that's a word. LOL.

  • It seems that way doesn't it? All I know is that I was excited when I heard that she was releasing a brand new album after so many years and then I bought it in June 2008 and took it home to play it and she broke my heart! Because I was expecting the old disco sound from ''Bad Girls'' instead I got a beautiful trapped voice lost in the world of computer music. Her beautiful strong, serine voice is now sadly wasted on cheap synthesized computer music.

In my own opinion of course.

  • The old disco sound is exactly that, old. However, nothing wrong with paying homage to it in a song if she does it. Crayons has pop, rock, r&b, dance, and a world vibe to it. If Donna always did the old disco sound, people would be saying she should do something different. Truth is, Donna has never done just one style of music. This is what drew me to her. A black singer who does not just do r&b. Love that about her.

  • I understand but I disagree. When an artist or a band have a good sound they should stick to it, I mean why not stick to it there getting hits and love from the fans out of it! Exploring different musical styles might lead the fans into confusion where they're not sure if they can trust the artist (like me). I cannot trust her anymore because of this album. she only started doing different styles of music from 1980 onwards, before that it was strictly disco and that's where she became famous.

  • I support your right to disagree. I'ts all just opinion anyway. A "good" sound is relative or personal. So, to say she should have stuck to what you call a "good" sound would be, to some, to stick to a bad sound. Again, it's all opinion and relative. But it's sure nice to be talking about her:)

  • And, Donna is 60. She has said that she's not concerned about having hits. Been there. Done that. Would be nice to have hits, but it's not the goal at her age. If a fan is confused, they're not really a fan because Donna Summer fans know she's not just disco/dance music. So, no confusion. Likey, you're a fan of disco/dance music itself and hearing her voice on dance music, but not a fan of hers. There's a difference. I respect your view. In the end, it's just opinions, which are personal based.

  • I know you're an intellegent person and I don't want to insult your intellegence but you can't say i'm not a fan of Donna Summer when I got all her albums and records and I even got ''Crayons''. Yes it's all truly opinionated and comes down to personal choice, but I believe that there is boundry lines that bands and artists shouldn't cross, and crossing those lines in music means they are not concerned about the fans anymore and just thinking about themselves which is what Donna Summer has done.

  • Deborah Harry and Donna Summer are my biggest female idols and I will always love them and I have always thought of them as friendly rivals in the music industry, Deborah Harry is lucky cause we all know that we're gonna get a good rock sound out of her in Blondie and she always records music with real musicians which is what I wanna hear, but on the other hand Donna Summer doesn't have a band to belong to but she does have a band of her own, so why didn't she record her new album with them?

  • You'll have to ask her that queston. LOL. Whether with a live band or not, I love the results becasues I love hearing her voice on anything newly recorded. Didn't mean to say you're not a fan. Different levels of "fandom", again:) Those who like whatever she does and those who only like her music when she does what they expect.

  • But I do understand. You can be a fan of someone's music artistry and not like some of the artistry that they create. I understand that. There are some songs I do not like, but it's a small few and they are from Donna's days before she became famous. Off of "Lady Of The Night". After that, it's all good to me...some more so liked than others, of course. Nice talking to you, Adam.

  • It's been nice talking to you too Ieecappella.

Thank you for the friendly conversation.

  • You better pull out your red pen and do spelling corrections. You are funny. :)

  • looks like donna will never re-capture her salad days of disco/pop hit after disco/pop hit, with this blandly produced crap.....what a dissappointment

  • NICE .. to see Donna Summer.. She does IN FACT have an amazing voice....No fluff there! And lookin GOOD!

Some forget HOW amazing her career became...makin way for the Mariahs...WHitneys...even...Beyonces..

    A true Diva w/ no arrogance !

    Props 2 ....DONNA Summer!

    Way beyond DISCO !

Have U heard her Gospel ???

  • LOVE DONNA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care what she puts out. No one sounds like her EVER!!!! She is absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!!

  • Donna is absolutely an amazing musical treasure! My only wish is that she get back to the standout, "I feel love" type hypnotic dance music that made her a household name. Love ya Donna. Great new album!

  • She's so great. Just listening to her speaking in this interveiw is so positive & inspirational. Most artists of today owe alot to Donna Summer. She's the true meaning of a legend & what music & singing is all about. Continued success miss Donna Summer. People & music need you.

  • she still sooo fucking gorgeous..i love her! MADONNA owns her ALOT! along with these little bitches like rihanna, beyonce etc..

  • I like her then and I like her now!

  • She's still So pretty and still has an amazing Voice .........

  • I am SO buying this CD!!!! Thank you Donna, U dah Queen!!

  • too bad she doesn´t keep in the disco path. By chasing the fast money she will lost the new disco wave. This actual crap has expiration date and its for kids with no real talent. No matter if she actually born with it.

  • Very, very nice!! I'm glad she came out with this CD. She should've done something like this a long time ago. I hope she continues. She has so much more to give for years to come. Rock the house Donna!!

  • She is my favorite female artist of all times. Yes, I agree...nobody does her like Gorgio Moroder, but if he's not around what's she to do. I don't like her singing this new school stuff. I think she should just sing her dance stuff and her slow stuff of old. She still has an audience. Who care if the hip hoppers don't like it? They don't have all the money. The baby boomers do...we do! BTW, her book is great, go buy it.

  • Yes we boomers got it . . . Operator!

  • I agree with you. It is not Donna. She does not need all that extra backup. that is for singers that can not sing. She can blow. That is my girl I love her, Look up to her and admire her.

  • This is an excellent album..I have been waiting 17 years for it (have been a Donna fan since 1975,even through the 'bad' times)...only problem is the album has had no promotion or publicity here in the UK..so it didn't chart

  • she totally rocks. luv her......

  • GIORGIO MORODER !!! thats whos missing here,,,those are typical beats that seems to be the standard today..donna baby give giorgio a call !!

  • Giorgio made some new work with Donna like 'Carry On'.... it sounded like SAW in de eighties, nothing special. Do not forget Pete Belotte who also wrote and produced in Donna's heydays.

  • ah yes, Pete Belotte !!

  • Stamp is the only real hit on the cd ... Donna should have lost 50 lbs and toured then she would have sold more than 100,00 cds.

  • i disagree with you. she has at least 4 hits on this cd. her concert was great. she may have not lost the weight but how many female singers in her genre still have their voice. her voice still sounds the same 30 years ago. appreciate who she is. she sold over 100 million albums worldwide.

  • i like Donna Summer yes she still sounds good but an artist needs to sell more than 100k copies of their cd, yes she sold 100 million through her career but crayons only sold 100k. she still looks good but would look sensational 50 lbs lighter, in this business appearance counts. maybe her next will sell more.

  • she had 4 club hits...someone of donnas status should have crossed over...a dance hit means nothing when youve consistanly charted pop hit after pop hit...shes done

  • I'd rather have a club hit then no hit at all. You need to stop hating on Donna. This cd is very eclectic with different musical sounds. I like about 7 songs on this cd. Apparently you cannot accept change. Either you are a fan or not.

  • id rather have a club hit too, but im not donna....i dont hate donna at all, i just hate this ALBUM....i can easily accept change, if the change is good, this album in my opinion, is not good..its as bland as the day is long...interesting how the album isnt a "dance album" per-se, however, all her single releases consistantly chart on the "dance" chart....that tells me, her public wants another "dance" album...not this shit

  • Stop hatin'. Donna's cd is great for a new full cd in 17 years. Apparently you have a PROBLEM with change. I like 7 songs on the cd which means now days that's a good cd. I'd rather have a club hit than no hit at all. For the record her concert last year was absolutely fabulous.

  • And as for Donna's ''All Systems Go'' album i personally like 6 out of the 9 songs especially ''Bad Reputation'' , ''Voices Cryin' Out'' , ''Thinkin 'Bout My Baby'' ,'' All Systems Go''and of course ''Dinner With Gershwin''. This album just wasn't promoted well.

  • I think the photos of Donna are hot!!!!!!!!! She looks great-she sounds great!!!! I hope that a few of the songs make it big and hang on to the charts. I loved it when she released This Time I know Love Is For Real in the late 80's early 90's. I would love to see her and Tina do a song together.

  • GREAT C.D. Now 3 number One Dance hits from "Crayons!" Love You Donna!

  • she certainly still look fabulous, but the music sounds crap. She should have stay in the dance music as her 80's and 90's hits.Did someone honestly understand what she says?Such an horible accent!God,that just is scary to speak that way.

  • you are complaining how she talks when you can barely write the English language??? And don't you think that an artist in her 4th decade would want to try something new and creative? songs in the style of the 70's and 80's would NOT sell in today's market. oh and she got two #1 dance hits off this album

  • I am not complaining I am surprised as when she was in London she didn't speak like that at all!I'm afraid this album that still hasn't been released in Europe by the way will have as less success as the "mistaken identity" one.I am not sure my 17 years old brother and sister will become new fans because her music sounds young as for them she is just an old woman, but I know her 35 years old fans will not buy this, while they would have bought a europop dance cd

  • I'm 35 & i bought it you ass!

  • well,I'm happy for you,you did,but is that a reason to insult poeple?That's a strange way of behaving,isn't it?

  • Now she has 3 #1 with fame!

  • What the f@ck are you talking about. JERK!!!!

  • I am saying:trying to use simple words this time so you might understand:1=there's no need to insult poeple,2=what happened to her accent? She never spoke like this before, now, she sounds barely understandable in this vid,and 3=Donna surely looks great but the song I'm afraid will not a become a worldwide hit as all her previous releases did.Hope you understand it better now.

  • Evidently you're the one who doesn't understand... for that matter. How can you not understand what she is saying? She really never had an accent. I understand her perfectly. She's just speaking fast but very clearly. You're right, i still don't understand what you're talking about. & who cares if it becomes a worldwide hit. There are some really good songs on here & just her releasing new material in this day & age after 35 years in thie ever changeing music industry speaks volumes.

  • Queen is BACK! La reina esta de regreso y esta vez con mas creativa que nunca!!

  • Well, Donna, you have the best voice in America, so why not.

  • Love Donna, but at 1st I thought...isn't this a little Rihanna-ish for Ms. Summer? But then again, it sounds good, and Donna Summer's sound SETthe sound for the Rihannas of today. She is one of the ORIGINAL pioneers of the hip groove (disco), so in that sense, this is good. Donna has sustained hits per decade, so I can see this being another hit for her. Any sound sounds good with Donna Summer!

  • WELCOME, BIENVENIDA REINA DEL DISCO

  • donna i love you and u will always be that sex goddes but i dont think this album is that good but i still feel love ur hot

  • I love the entire album....Donna is unique talent and can sing such a large variety of styles of music masterfully......I think Crayons is the most diverse and the best of all of her efforts....I am very glad she decided to write and record it.....I love it!!!!!!!

  • And another thing, there are no bad songs,,,If radio plays it and popularizes it will become a hit. Just listen to what is on the radio today..total crap...but all big hits.. Donna CD sound like the best CD out there in comparison. Yet airplay is non existent. Maybe if Donna would have used so popular black rapper in some of her songs they would have done better in today's market. Her new CD sound a bit to dance-ish for Radio. Not hip-hop enough for pop radio.

  • the comment that "the kids loved the single, and they bought it", i see no proof of that what-so-ever...

  • the single peaked #38 on the dance play charts, it also peaked #28 on the global dance charts, and #1 on the club play charts..it never charted pop or r&b..interesting how she doesnt want to be pidgeon-holed as a "dance artist", yet she consistantly charts on the dance charts..i dont buy the "age factor" here, looking back, cher was in her mid 40s on her comeback, madonna just turned 50, tina was in her mid 40s on her comeback, janet is in her mid 40s....continued

  • the problem here is the lack of good material, despite the production and writing teams of some recent hot producers..the overall reation to this album was poor. i also dont buy the "lack of promotion" comment, not true, this single debuted on the highest rated TV show that week, AI, and there were coountless TV talk shows were the single was performed...again, its the material itself, its bland at best...donna needs to do a retro dance album like madonna did...thats her musical foundation...

  • donna remember my !!! i love you forever ....

  • Damn she looks younger than ever

  • she looks great for her age! x

  • Well how did it do? (the cd) the material sounds as good as anything out there today, but she's 60, did/will radio play a 60 yr old singer? probably not.

  • The single was #1 on the club play dance charts on Billboard. and I believe the single was in the pop top 40 sales charts,,,the kids loved the single,,and they brought it, but Radio was weak of course.

  • its too bad veteran superstar artists have to go around radio to get their material out there. if Beyonce released the same song it would have been on continuous round the clock radio airplay.

  • ABOUT TIME!!

  • Fierce !

  • Incredible Donna!!!

    The most awated return!!!

  • DONNA SUMMER siempre seras la REINAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Donna vous etre Formidable!!

  • I have been a fan of Donna Summer for over 20 years. I think she is at her best when she interprets images of life rather than lofty and important inspirational thoughts. I also believe she should concentrate on the European marketing strategy and release a CD that uses here voice in modern dance genres including trance. I think this change of direction could work for her and allow her to leave her unique mark of excellence for new generations of club and dance music enthusiast world wide.

  • ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Sorry but like Whitney, Donna will not see a comeback like Cher. Today's music scene has changed and your music has to make no sense, ridiculous and horrible for it to get sales. Just look at Lil Wayne, he's sold 2 millions. Hannah Montana sells out concerts. Donna Summers would have to put out a horrible record to turn the heads of music biggest buyers, the teens.

  • to me its a "no brainer" donna is and always will be labeled a disco/pop artist, even if she made a straight up rock, or hip/hop record, she will still be labeled a disco diva...so donna give us another album like you gave us in 1989, APAT, but just dont use stock, aitken,waterman...hire stuart price!!!

  • indeed, but if 1989's one hadn't been written & produced by Stock,Aitken,Waterman,it might not have been the huge hit album it was then, and you wouldn't talk about it right now, corect? This time I know it's for real,I don't wanna get hurt and love's about to change still are playing in good dance clubs and new mixes still are being produced every two years for clubs where they score!

  • I think Donna's message is loud and clear... "I'm a Contemporary Artist" Please don't judge me by my past. I think Crayons did that. Besides there are some really good obscure songs on it... I wouldn't mind having a new Donna CD with NO dance on it at all... she has so many beautiful smart alternative songs with more substance.

  • I still think this is a great album I really thought that it would have done better. I think this album will do much better in Europe. I think this time around Donna was to far ahead of the curve. Mark my word in the long run this will be seen as one of her best efforts. I just curious to see what she's going to do next.

  • no she wasn't too far ahead of the curve. we just have to face the fact that the Boomers and even Generation X are no longer the purveyors of popular culture. as much as i'll always love Mrs. Summer she's largely unknown or uninteresting to the younger generation buying the bulk of music today.

  • well if that's the case perhaps the "younger" generation should stop sampling the music from Boomers and Generation X, of course you wouldn't have any music because the younger generation doesn't have 1/10 of the creative ability of boomers or x'ers, that goes for film and televsion, why are so many of the younger generations movies 60-70's television shows? this generation is devoid of creativity and the boomers & x'rs mark still dominates pupular culture.

  • nope, hasn't even been released in Europe yet!Neither even announced neither a single.

  • It is never easy for a legendary recording artist to match up with the "stars" of today. However at 60, The Queen Of Disco Rocks! She still looks awesome, air brushed or not. I always liked her everyday, plain, let it all out, street, way of speaking/tone. This comeback might not be a huge hit, but I can see it being a moderate hit for sure. Missed You Donna!

  • I guess "driving down brazil" is good for relaxing, KEEP IT UP!!

  • haha Mr. Music moves me a lot!

  • a comeback is supposed to be special and memorable, "crayons" is neither special or memorable...its sad because donna is a legendary artist whos voice is unmatched, "stamp your feet" is a lame attempt at "aint no holla back girl" type beat, the song is sort of corny and contrived, lets hope the next album is more dance friendly...

  • your back.. You have to understand that this is the "dance music" of today.. this is what is playing in clubs across the county. The holla back or dance/R&B sound is what kids buy and dance too. Any house or techno based dance is never heard in clubs and radio. I understand u perfer this music, I like it too,, There are always remixes for this.. But the best and only shot Donna had for a big seller &break radio is this type of current dance music. Anything else the odds would be much less?

  • im back??? whats that mean??? "any house or techno based dance is never heard in radio" who said anything about techno or house?? house and/or techno are not the only sub-genres of dance music, madonnas "hung up" a #7 pop hit was retro/dance, obviously donnas choice didnt work....rhianna has the #1 pop song in the country with her dance single "disturbia"... proving there are dance songs played on the radio, its just donnas songs were not good....

  • Crayon's was not targeted to the retro/dance market. It was produced by people that have produced all #1 hits this past year. The project was target to the youth dance market. It produced two #1 dance hits, that if picked up by radio they would be #1 pop/songs. What this boils down to is your personal taste in music and thats fine. This project didnt fail the system failed. I like the style of music you discribed, But I still work hard to support this project and have had 200,000 postive hits.

  • there is a reason why it wasnt picked up at radio, and, in my opinion, its because of the songs themselves, they just arent strong songs, regardless of what genre they were shooting for..."disturbia" is a well produced catchy song with a great radio hook, something "crayons" is severely lacking..everyone that i personally know, which is the 35-55 age group, does not like her new album at all...yet they all loved madonnas "confessions"...

  • That is expected, "Crayons" was not targeted to the 35-55 age group for sure. But I can see why that age group would prefer "Confessions" Maybe the next CD will be more like " confessions"? But I serious dont think that will make much a differece with pop radio, it might make even harder??

  • I'm 49, and I STILL LOVE MISS SUMMER ! SHE CAN SELDOM DO "NO WRONG" ! I hate current music --- it totally SUCKS !!!! SUCKS !

  • We are starting to sound like our Parents...lol think about it..

  • LOL! You are so right! But it's TRUE. Today's generation is LAZY! The "songs" are uninspired, simplistic CRAP! They have so much potential they are not tapping into. I was a teen of Donna's day. We were the last generation to realllly make good music. And our children just sample it instead of coming up with their own.

  • WELL SAID!

  • disturbia" I dont see much of a difference between that dance /r&B song and "Im a Fire or Stamp". They are both similar to what's out there. The only difference is Donna was not supported by radio. I work hard to support Donna and this project to its target audience. I respect your opinion, but its only your opinion. I have had over 200,000 positive hits by on Youtube. Lets just hope her next project is more to your specific liking. For you to come here & Rip this CD apart is a bit harsh?

  • My god she looks amazing!! She doesnt look like she has aged a bit!

Welcome back to the queen Donna Summer!

  • She is so much better than this.

  • Her voice is gold, they shouldnt mess with it using too many effects.

I also wish the songs would suit her better, not just mainstream rnb stuff.

  • It sounds suitable to me,,, I think Donna is aiming for a r&B /Pop Hit... Anything else wouldnt work for a Hit.??

  • I didnt want to sound picky or negative, but I guess I was hoping for the new songs to be more special, as special as she is!

    :-)

  • Nice facial work, how old is she?

    Donna rocks

  • I believe she is her late 50's!

  • She'll be 60 on DEC 31. I think her voice has gotten better over time.

  • Dance & disco & funk is R&B music ...u are starting to sound like a better old queen...enough already, didnt your mother teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything ay all.. wtf ?? end the protest of hate dude, its not flattering. if u wanna hate Donna, fine, just dont do it here,,, show some respect ..thank you!

  • Donna Summer the greatest disco queen in all over the world.Nobody sings so well as she does.We love you Donna.I have a question: why hasn't never recorded in spanish? In latinamerica people loves you !

  • Donna is so much more than old 70's pop Disco music, She left that type of music 30 years ago. To me Donna Summer is the greatest Dance & R&B singer in the world...lol

  • Ha regresado la unica y verdadera reyna de la noche y principalmente de la disco eres genial Donna bienvenida nuevamente. Desde Mèxico.

  • she's the Queen

  • Donna you rocked the house in Oakland!

I got your album last night at the theatre and it is very good!

    Thanks and keep it going.

  • Donna Summer thank you for the great concert you put on to all us of tonight at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, CA.

Just great stuff! All the songs, old and new. I missed Love is Science though.

God Bless you. You are the best.

  • Madonna isn't queen of nothing, she has one good song and that's Music. Old song.

  • We'v got Hot Staff again ! Thanks God.

    LOVE YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !

  • is she gunna do any MTV videos? or just what's on youtube?

  • OMG!!! I wanna be a black woman in my next life! Donna does not look 60 years old!!! She looks fabulous!!!!! The queen of disco is back!

  • probably she got her secret - elixir of anti-aging.

  • Totally!

  • No you misunderstood, Donna is talking about the Queen of great women in history that can actually sing. Madonna is fantastic, but supreme vocalist she is not. Besides Donna was the Madonna of the 70's and early 80's. When Donna wanted down time, Madonna took over where she left off... Madonna without Donna Summer, Unthinkable!

    THIS COMMENT IS GENIUS!

  • Donna Summer your new CD is very very good.

    Thank you very much!

  • I'm just your average, white, middle-aged guy but I've always loved Donna..... everything about her. What a powerful voice, the big hair, her energy, class, style and yeah...I second the "white teeth" comment!! Yeah Donna....show them how it's done !!!

  • I saw Donna in Boston this past saturday. After spending a few days thinking about it I have come to the conclusion it was the best concert I have ever been to. I was floored by the show, her voice remains just as golden as ever, and what amazed me was that her new music is as good as her previous stuff. Move over Madonna, Celine, Stevie Nicks, Whitney-

Donna Summer is the greatest diva of you all. Dan

  • oh my god how white are her teeth lol, great cd though

  • Brilliant new album, can't stop playing it in the car.Would love her to tour again, seen her twice before in Manchester, England

  • Great Donna Summer!!!

  • Donna I Love You!!! And always have since I was 5 years old in 1975. You are a fire!!!

  • Oh Donna, where have you been ?. I was only six years old when your last record came out but, even then, I could sing your entire back catalogue. You were my mom's favourite - I was listening to your brill music in the womb. This work - "Crayons - is a work of art and well worth the wait. I love all the tracks but "Fame(the Game)" has got smash hit written all over it.

Her Madgesty will be very very mad,Donna, coz now she must relinquish her throne to the true queen of disco/pop. Welcome back!

  • Love this CD, it's different and varied. Go, Donna!
