  • I remember listening to this during Airborne School...it scared the crap outta me, lol! All The Way!

  • @thexboxnerdoo1 this song dates back to WWII, and it sure as hell isn't about a female.

  • @thexboxnerdoo1 Women wern't allowed to jump back then.

  • @thexboxnerdoo1 Sure it is..thats why HE isnt going to jump no more..good try.

  • This song is to teach them the importance of packing your chute correctly, duble checking your equipment and such. They make it sound so bad so you are SURE to check your equipment.

  • @thexboxnerdoo1 where the fuck are you getting in my jump school class there was one girl out of 280 dumbass

  • Sheesh,what a helluva way to die.

  • All American!!

  • All American!!

  • reddevil, I was B Co. 1/508. ALL THE WAY!

  • 101st hasn't been airborne since WW2. They're air assault and just keep the tab to save face. Puking chicken FTL

  • 101st Airborne is the best!!!!!!!

  • 82nd is 2nd fav on my airborne divisions list

  • I'm sorry but this version of the song is kinda funny watch the one to the tune of Glory Glory Glory Hallelujah cause that what its supposed to be.

  • @HaloNerd4Ever - Don't even know where to begin with this one. This song is to the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" There is no other version worth listening to

  • @82ndAirborneMP There are at least 3 versions each is good in it's own way .

  • @mollymu1 can u give me links to em cuz i can only find two versions

  • What was this all about ? You can express yourself better than this.. We all wear/wore green, and bleed red. I was with the unit that secured the LZ in Viet Nam for the 173rd when they made their combat jump. We were glad to see them, and they glad to see us.That is one piece of Airborne history that I will take to my grave with me, and I am proud of it. From a real old soldier..

  • Vietnam is one word...

  • Not it Vietnamese. It is Việt Nam in Vietnamese.

  • But in English it's one word.

  • Comment removed

  • ur right, but i guess cuz there deployed by helis, they still consider it an airborne, just not through parachutes

  • Mr.Freebird, the 101st is an Air Assault division (a supped up air mobile unit) they would beg to differ with you about your reccomendation. Their history is storied and with out exception and when need be can return to Airborne status. As of now it's a money thing, the Army can't field two Airborne Div.due to cost but rest assure if they need me I'll do what ever it takes to get this tired ass 59 yr old body into the Screaming Eagles. Retired Sgt. Armor former Navy Viet Vet PBR river rat 70-72

  • airborne all the way

  • When Ever I hear this song all I can say is AIRBORNE - I am a CAVALRY Officer by trade I have 7 jumps to my name while Garry Owen, and the call of the bugle are in my blood - I can never under estimate the blood and courage of my AIRBORNE Brothers - whatever name you may choose to call us as long as it SOLDIER I am happy.

  • 101st can kick 82 ass

  • bought still they fought as one.numbers dont mean nothing when there is bombs going of and mg's every where and men screaming every where.all that matters is that u make it out out alive to keep the fight going.

  • hell yeah

  • 101st isn't an airborne division anymore. They are an airborne assault. 82nd is the only true airborne left

  • didnt they decomission the 101st a couple years ago??

  • @w0bbl3r It's not decommissioned, but it's not an "airborne" division anymore. During Vietnam it was designated as an airmoble division, and later as an air assault division, which remains today. But it is still called the 101st Airborne.

  • oh, thanks for clearing that up for me

  • @w0bbl3r Actually this is a new version to me . Might be the most recent .

  • The 173rd is Airborne.

  • ...A Little Up Beat and Peppy Then What It Should Be. It Should Sound More... Angry.

  • 82nd assholes

this song was originally from 101st

  • there is no reason to call any of or divisons or platoons assholes. They all put there lives on the line for us and thats that.

  • 101st is now air assault (helocopter troops) while the 82nd still remains as airborne (parachuting out of planes) though they both still have airborne tabs.

  • 101st sill does some jumps not all of them are air assault

  • They plated this at my Airbore graduation back in 99....great motivating song....LOL

  • This is a more upbeat version than the recording from the 1950's. This song means alot to me because my Great-Uncle was KIA while jumping on Normandy on June 6th 1944. He was in G. Co. 502nd PIR, 101st Airborne

  • my great uncle flew fighter cover for the boys on the beaches and if it wasn't for the airborne taking out the AA he would be dead

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • great song for a memorial

  • awesome!

  • aha! Great song!
