This would be a great civilian insurgency weapon. The military doesn't like the idea of automated weapons due to their rather poor ability to differentiate friend, foe, or non-combatant. A revolutionary or a crazy guy who doesn't want to pay his mortgage but still wants to keep his house would find a few of these babies quite handy.
