The "outbreak in '76 was a hoax. Noone actually got it, or died from it anyway. Today thousands have contracted this virus, many have died. Though the media is claiming only a small number of cofirmed cases, these are only the ones that have been reported. It's similar to when you find one cockroach in your kitchen, you may only see the one but there are probably a thousand behind the wall out of sight. This may be trivial in the end but it may be much, much worse. It is definitely not a hoax.
