It's playable to the extent that you limit yourself to a few voices at best. It could be done, it would be difficult, and wouldn't necessarily have the orchestral feel (obviously)... but it's still possible.

Yeah, that high part in the strings really did not sound good at all. It sounds like many of the violins were way off. And yes, I am a violinist who has played the first violin part for this song.
