The problem is that most teenagers nowadays don't actually do what they want, they just place themselves into a system and just follow whatever everyone else is doing. They all live objectively, taking opinions based off what the majority of the crowd thinks is cool and just let the media and commodity run their lives. They're not doing what they want to do, they're doing what they think is cool and will help them "fit in" more, such as smoking and drinking. And this is coming from a 16 year-old
