Actually you got it a bit backwards this version is probably the final demo of the song while the other version (the one on the DVD) is an earlier version.
The key is that Iaggo sounds like a parrot here while on the earlier version he sounds British. Iaago was originally cast as a stuffy English mascot for Jafar but when Gilbert Gottfried was cast they made him sound more like a parrot because Gottfried could do that voice.
So this is the final demo with Gottfried's part voiced by Menken
I can actually see this animated XD Aaaah, I would have been caught between laughing and crying cuz I always felt really bad for Aladdin when Jafar reveals him in front of Jasmine, but at the same time...THE TUTU XD
This is one of my favorite deleted songs from the movie, this along with "High Adventure" and "Babkak, Omar, Aladdin, Kassim." I can definitely see why this was cut; I just wish it wasn't.
