I'm using the Easy Cap Viewer to copy old video tapes to my Mac. The recording starts of very well but the further it goes the more the sound and the audio go out of sync. Is there something I can do to prevent that?
I'm trying to import my old vhs tapes onto my computer as well. However, before buying the EasyCap I wanted to make sure that the software you mention would be compatible on my iMac, which is running Lion. All in all, I downloaded the software and when I try to run it says: "Please connect an EasyCap DC60 to your computer. Please note that the DC60+ is not supported." I was just wondering if you had the same issue. Were you running Snow Leopard or Lion on your video?
@kyledv64 hey... yeah my VCR has a video/audio out... AV cables are connected from my output to the Easycap... and the Easycap is connected to the USB port on the back of my iMac... but all I get is a black screen and feedback sound... any suggestions??
@scantron20 Im not sure. Maybe if you go under the Easycap Viewer Tab and click on Configure Device and mess around with the settings something will make it work. If not it might be a faulty device
@TheGamer7000 No its only on eBay. You might be able to go to Best Buy or Frys and you can look for a Dazzle which can pretty much do the same thing. But its more expensive.
does this work on mac laptop? i went to that website softpedia and they don't have any easycapviewer download.k i found it but when u press open its a bunch of writing and there is no run button to click
I have Adobe Premiere Elements 8, and pinnacle Studo 15. Studio allws me to capture (71o-USB) frame by frame. Pronlem....I can not separate audio from visual.
Premiere elements has no capture cars, I can use my Pinnacle, but Premiere wants an "S" cable. I have an "S" cabale on both the input VHS to Device, and one from the device to .....where> Also Pinnacle lets mw capture frame by frame, Adobe is a stream that I can not pull out just one clip or frame, and separate audio from video.Help?

@zx1357 I think you can, but you would have to somehow plug up your computer to the vcr with audio/video cables.
