  • I'm using the Easy Cap Viewer to copy old video tapes to my Mac. The recording starts of very well but the further it goes the more the sound and the audio go out of sync. Is there something I can do to prevent that?

  • thanks dude simple tutorial very easy.to understand

  • is it possible to record video from PC to the VHS tape?

  • @zx1357 I think you can, but you would have to somehow plug up your computer to the vcr with audio/video cables.

  • I'm trying to import my old vhs tapes onto my computer as well. However, before buying the EasyCap I wanted to make sure that the software you mention would be compatible on my iMac, which is running Lion. All in all, I downloaded the software and when I try to run it says: "Please connect an EasyCap DC60 to your computer. Please note that the DC60+ is not supported." I was just wondering if you had the same issue. Were you running Snow Leopard or Lion on your video?

  • @r2whitt I didn't and mine was fine

  • dude you can record tv and video games

  • Can you use for pc

  • Scantron I have the same problem. Were you able to fix it?

  • Dude... it's a VCR :)

  • Hey I can't get mine to work! The video doesn't show up... what am I doing wrong?

  • @scantron20 Make sure the VCR has a video out and audio out.

  • @kyledv64 hey... yeah my VCR has a video/audio out... AV cables are connected from my output to the Easycap... and the Easycap is connected to the USB port on the back of my iMac... but all I get is a black screen and feedback sound... any suggestions??

  • @scantron20 Im not sure. Maybe if you go under the Easycap Viewer Tab and click on Configure Device and mess around with the settings something will make it work. If not it might be a faulty device

  • @scantron20 If you recently purchased try contacting the seller and ask for an exchange for a new one

  • hey what can i do to get better resolution?

  • is the sold in stores in the U.S. my mom won't buy anything online

  • @TheGamer7000 No its only on eBay. You might be able to go to Best Buy or Frys and you can look for a Dazzle which can pretty much do the same thing. But its more expensive.
