I gew up with this music and with singers like these,it was a fantastic time and i don't think we fully appreciated it untill it got pushed out of the way by the crap that we have ended up with today. I am sure if we could this style of music back we would have less violence in this world.I go to a club on a saturday night where singers still sing this type of music, thank god and there is never any trouble. About three or four years ago Bill Medley performed for free at an event in Fullerton, CA He sung unchained medley as a tribute to bobby. It was so beautiful. I had never heard Bill sing the song before. While it was not the same as bobby's, the emotions that he was feeling came through and it was beautiful.
