I have been playing with a design similar to this for years but I am not in the industry to understand the electrical requirements. (Architecture by trade)
How would I educate myself inorder to design a coil to perform a specific task? (2 1/8"x1/2"x2" neodymium iron boron to switch flux direction)
Is there a spread sheet or something similar that someone like myself would understand?
@mblwood , Just as long as you understand that it is not the magnet that changes flux but rather the side bars. Just check out the net on simple motors and different forums have information.. energeticforum com/renewable-energy/5145-mostly-pm-motor-joe-flynn-motor-my-attempt-replicate.html
I thought the some way, nice to see it running. Fine art ^_^! Also thought about using a double rotor engine, each of one on each side of the parallel path. Also thinking about linking those 2 rotors to gain an extra push using the magnetic degravitation, because those 2 rotors will be large enough to almost touch one another. This is adding the Flynn tech with Leon Raoul Hatem sorcery, a french inventor. Cheers :)

@beac310
Have only been working on it occasionally... got the next two bar sets done, working on new H bridges
Plastic infill pieces inbetween the 'teeth' so doesn't look so scary now.

Looks great!
Have you made any measurements as to the efficiency of the motor yet?

@importfanatik
No, not yet, it is the process of construction
