  • @shallowcoder1 depends on ur genetics , ur metabolism , ur nutrition but if all those 3 are good and uworkout a lot YOU WILL FOR SURE GET SUPER RIPPED and probably big...Because pull ups make u a lot wider in ur shoulders and work ur bicep and back shoulder, push ups work ur front shoulder,CHEST and triceps so as u can see uhave fully worked arms with only these two and u look big cuz of the big back and ripped chest and also there are A LOT OF good ab exercises at home.GL

  • @broadcast3ful Broadcast, I don't think there's ever been any evidence that pull ups actually move the shoulder joints further apart. This distance is limited by the length of the clavicles (the 'collar bones' that connects to scapular acromions to the sternum) and pull ups haven't been shown to lengthen this bone.

  • @DD7n I'm not Tuan... so you can ignore.

    But my advice would be, get a gym membership, eat more (at least 3 good meaty meals a day, + snacks). I eat at 7:30, 11:00, 16:00, and 18:00. I snack in between. And by snack I mean, medium sandwich...Nutella and milk...My first meal is not really big, maybe an egg or two. Or honey and milk... Other main meals are with meat, cheese, and eggs, yogurt. I work out every other day, bodyweight exercises. Read the book Naked Warrior, very good book.

  • @DD7n To my knowledge, if you make 12 reps easily then you should lift heavier. But only if you can do 12 easily for 3-4 sets. Weight is gained with proper nutrition and plenty of calories.In a book Guyton's Physiology they refer to a test made once with average joes... Biggest strength gains were made by people who eat lots of carbs after workout..The ones who odd with protein and ones who ate fat had poorer results.But aim for 1g of protein per kg of bodyweight.Suggested by Mike Mentzer.

  • @DD7n In same book ( Guyton Physiology), chapter called -sports physiology- states that 6 maximal (90% or more of effort) contractions per 3 sets every other day are fastest way to get stronger and bigger muscles.

    Try to read plenty of books on the subject, i recommend you start with Medicine books like afore mentioned, they tend to be right lol.

I've red this book today and cannot praise it enough. Please read this book!!! Generally eggs, milk(if you tolerate lactose), cheese, fish and meat are good source of proteins. Carbs are little more complicated because you need different sources for before...

  • @SmoootHman ...and after workout. There is lots of tables with foods and their respective caloric values, glucose concentrations and info on how fast is that glucose be absorbed.

    Building your body is a meticulous process and you are on a beginning of this journey, don't rush anywhere and you'll become big healthy and strong individual. Definitely stay away from false profits and mass gaining powders etc. Be critical and do your research about everything.

I have been taking pushups for three years, and I couldnt be happier. As I had a bad leg injury, I couldnt run. But pushups helped me get through it. To other people I will strongly recommend taking pushups daily. It is the exercise you will notice progress fastest, making it very inspirational. Keep it up roughneckasian :)

  • @lakhsassi1986 Recupperation must be your problem, dont tell me you workout all seven days a week for muscle growth, it aint gonna work, five to six days is enough, one day go off, and then interms of cardio, high intensity interval training for alternative three days in a week(not more than 20 minutes or you'll be dead with your lungs on the floor,lol checkout HIIT on google), interms of muscle pumping, one part one day, and the other part the other day!! this will fetch u results 100%!!!!

  • I was told to avoid pushing from the entire hand (no palm or fingers, but they're all on the ground), only the lower parts below the palm. I don't think it helps me push the upper part of my shoulders, like there isn't enough leverage. After I started pushing more with my fingers, I realise an improvement in my technique. However, instead of taking my word on it, I have posed dozeds of videos where I am taking a drug test, showcase passed drug test forms but that's not a proof coz i was clean at the moment lol and even pictures of me as young as 14. He may be a meso-ectomorph meaning he has an even balanced frame with potential for building muscle combined with a naturally fast metabolism that keeps his body fat percentage low. This body type is unbelievably explosive. I say this is a guy who knows how to eat right and workout right in a way that produces consistent results. I'm nowhere (NOWHERE!) near as big as him and my muscles bulge off of my frame too because of my low body fat percentage.
