If you watch this fight footage, the original footage from the broadcast, it is obvious that he barely clipped Thompson. I don't like Thompson, I'm not trying to defend him, but this was a very poor stoppage. Even the announcers admit ON AIR after reviewing the tape that Esch didn't connect flush. Viewed from multiple angles over and over again they all realize it was a bad stoppage. Anyways, just a heads up. ;)
