That camero can never beat the skyline in a drag race. The Skyline has launch control which makes your car launch perfectly every time. Meaning your drag time will always be the same time. Launch control solves everything out for you. All you have to do is switch to launch control. Hold down your breaks and your acceleration pedal all the way down. When it turns green let go of the break and your off.
A GTR vs Camaro WOW....Camaro was probably stock. You people race the slowest cars and then wanna tell everyone yes Japs make the best. @ubermensch714I actually own a 97 Supra so i'm a little biased to Japanese sports cars too. However, the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and ZR1 are both awesome machines. My supra is fully built with a single 6765 turbo kit installed and makes 660 hp on 91 octane at fairly decent boost.
A Z06 can easily make about 600hp NA. With Cams, intake, headers, exhaust, and tune (All of which I have done to my car). Plus it weights less than my Supra. Give credit where credit is due. The LS motor is pretty nice

There is so much more you can do to a ZR1 than what is already in production. If they add an extra 20K to its price tag i bet theyll give you an extra 250-300rwhp.
@altimgamr Yea you can... but that 20k that the GTR uses will be to build the motor. The ZR1 doesnt need to do that till it hits the 1000+ hp mark. The ZR1 is so detuned from the factory its retarded. Pulleys, Suspension(not that it needs it),Boost, Plugs, Fuel pump, and injectors will send it past 1000hp. Thats not including a fat grind cam. LS motors are hands down the best motor ever made. Reliable, fast, inexpensive. Besides the 2JZ out of the MK4.
The GTR uses the same material that the Camaro and Corvette uses for the dash. They just wrap it in leather, but the Vette has that option as well. A Camaro is a 25k-35k muscle car, what do you expect?

tune it a little with p800 kit and do it vs a supersport veyron... still the GT R will will do good. Guess nobody with a Veyron will go against a GT R, Supra or rx7 on track... or do you know a vid somewhere taken? Guess we will never know ;)

Japs build some damn fine cars, and like I said earlier the GTR is insane, a miracle of modern engineering, perfectly delivers all it's 530horses to the ground for a perfect launch every time, incredible stability control. But all that makes it boring too, I'd love to drive one but I'd get bored fast, I'd much rather own a 370Z. That's a fun car YOU actually drive, not the other way around.

Facts: GTR is a competition car, (NOT MADE TO BE A TOWN CAR) a camaro is a lesser version of a race car and unless you sink real money into it will never beat a GTR, Skylines are race cars and will always be, out of the box they are faster than most cars.

@altimgamr Yea you can... but that 20k that the GTR uses will be to build the motor. The ZR1 doesnt need to do that till it hits the 1000+ hp mark. The ZR1 is so detuned from the factory its retarded. Pulleys, Suspension(not that it needs it),Boost, Plugs, Fuel pump, and injectors will send it past 1000hp. Thats not including a fat grind cam. LS motors are hands down the best motor ever made. Reliable, fast, inexpensive. Besides the 2JZ out of the MK4.

The GTR uses the same material that the Camaro and Corvette uses for the dash. They just wrap it in leather, but the Vette has that option as well. A Camaro is a 25k-35k muscle car, what do you expect?

@ADD8oi GTR wins in a straight line to 80 and well sure the Veyron wins faster then 80 if it stock vs stock, but can you imagine both cars on a race track.... the handling of the GT R and every corner boost it gets...
tune it a little with p800 kit and do it vs a supersport veyron... still the GT R will will do good. Guess nobody with a Veyron will go against a GT R, Supra or rx7 on track... or do you know a vid somewhere taken? Guess we will never know ;)
