@sweetypie1988a pete and chloe are infected with an alien parasite, which needs adrenaline to survive. And Pete gave Clark Red Kryptonite. When the parasite was removed, the adrenaline junkies forgot everything.
Such a great scene from a great episode. I like how they're not themselves but... it's implied that everything they do in this episode is actually them. It's just the part of them that they usually keep in check.

Season 5 folks!! First Episode Chloe accidentally gets taken to the North pole where clarks fortress was born and she goes inside it and sees clark talking to his biological father Jor-EL. She gets a sudden burst of cold air and begins freezing to death, but whispers clark help me and he heard her, and ran to a hospital near by, and told her his secret! She sort of knew when he caught the car but didn't know he was an alien!
after the parasite was extracted from her chloe forgot everything what happened while the parasite was in her and what she did, heard and saw during that time.
i thought so too, doesnt she find out when some blonde chick and her hide and then call clark to save them b/c there car is out of control and then theres no one in the car? and chole is shocked??
it was some sort of parasite bug that feeds on people adrenalines, and they need to make more by doing crazy stunts. it didnt effect clark, but he was on red kyrptonite. after they extract the bug they dont remember anything
