Can you PLEASE make a video to show how you would field strip the 516 for the purpose of cleaning. I just picked one up a few days back ( first time AR owner) and i'm semi- frightened to break her down being it has many intricate small parts. your carrier is different than mine. Mine was one of the first 516s out there that was part of the recall. I wouldnt send mine back because they kept giving me different stories as to why they needed it back. The carrier I have looks exactly like the LWRCm6a2....youres is cut out near the rear of the carrier on the underside, mine is not.
the only things i dont like this 516 is the red dot ,,i like the floding sight(troy)the one they show on the torture test

does your bolt have an O ring? mine doesnt Im not sure if it is supposed to between the bolt rings or not.

@secretpolice I don't know, may have something to do with this rifle being a piston system instead of impingment
