how did Kazuya even manage to beat Heihachi in this game? I mean, in every other encounter they have, he gets bested by Heihachi. and this game had heihachi at his youngest and fittest.

@b13309 tekken 1 kazuya wins, tekken 2 heihachi wins, tekken 4, not sure but I think heihachi beats him in this one too, in the arena before they go off together to see Jin who is chained up. and if you're counting Tekken Blood Vengeance, Kazuya gets his butt whupped by Heihachi and Jin in that one too.

@EmpathicMimicry well I don't really count blood vengeance cause I only really count the games, as for tekken 4, you can't really be sure who between them won, especially since neither one of their endings are canon. All we can say with cetainty is kazuya has onw win, heihachi has 1, making the score 1-1

alright...hahachi just wanted to scare kazuya and didnt mean to hrow him off the cliff as seen in xioyu's ending in tekken 5 so would that make xiou's story cannon? i mean that cant just be taken place in a what if world were xioyu wins and the past and future is changed? im breaking my brain with this...i guess xioyu got second place somehow and got second prize to mess up the past to create all this...

@XLRO8 xioyu didnt do anything that only happened if she had won the iron fist tournament 5 but she didnt jin did, so she never got the time machine and she never caused that, u obv dont know anything about the throwing off cliff, heihachi did it purposely to see if kazuya would be able to helm the mishima zaibatsu

@iamhard1001 but she did go back in time or at least in that time frame and it was haihachi wanting to just scare kazuya to make him "fearless" unless some how her actions in the future effected the past the past stays the same hihachi didnt want to harm kazuya it was an acedent kazuya was pissed defeated him haihachi got pissed and you know the rest

@jtc1999 oh but it does!..see in xioyus ending in tekken 5 i think as you might know had hahachi saying "in order for him to run the zibotsu he must be fearless" he didnt intend to throw him but it was because of xioyu (if she won but wasnt the case) so there must have been something els that pushed ha hahachi but the past still happend aparently so after he thaught kazuya died he got lee to be next in line despite intending it for kazuya untill he came back and took it from him

@Gauntlets Space constraints. They couldn't afford to take up memory space by giving characters individual voices and whatnot. Same as how Lee shares Kazuya's voice, Kunimitsu shares Yoshimitsu's voice (yes, she was a man in this one!), and Heihachi, aswell as Ganryu and P Jack, all share Jacks voice.
