The Catholics also do not get what they want on abortion. If they were the most powerful, then there would be 100 % paid vouchers for every parent who wants them, in every state. Abortion would be illegal across the board, and not just something that is talked about by only one party, the Republicans. And if any congressman or senator ever dared to criticize school vouchers, or a pro-life position, he would lose the next election. This is exactly what happens when they criticize Israel.

@mooninquirer On immigration-- U.S. is over b/c of it. If one has to be poor or in ethnic-conflict-model styled Welfare State, might as well do it elsewhere. Only "opportunity" is to be a bureaucrat. You can be poor or dispense to poor. Hardly the agriculture or entrepreneurial environment previous American population thrives in. No creative juice! (thinking is a "heresy" 4 RC) U.S. is good if you're a preist, lol. Shows their hubris, creating a nation they'd do well in, lol
