I can tell that this guy makes the best fried chicken in America, or one of the best...His cornbread must be pretty good too...I don't care what anyone says, fried chicken, good fried chicken, is more satisfying than a burger and/or pizza, period!

I visited this place a few days ago and he is the nicest, friendliest person I've ever met. If you're ever in the area (even if it's 100 miles or more away), you need to go see him and try his food. It's the best fried chicken I've ever had.

(And by the way, he still sings that "grandma was a cornbread cooking queen" song. :D)

@theswine59 Definitely go. It's great food. I mean, 6 hours for just food does seem kinda strange. But if you have another reason to be in the area, definitely stop by his place. I can't remember the prices exactly, but if I remember right, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet for like $10. Maybe $15. Not sure. But it's the best food I've ever had. And he's not kidding about how great the fried chicken is.

Im the "Teresa" that he refers to when is says "this is for you Teresa" ..my best friend had him make this for me. Ive had Mr. D's chicken and I admit its amazing!! Hes been on the Food Network and they title his chicken the best friend chicken so I just had to see for myself. I suggest anyone traveling through Mississippi to stop by and try it for yourself. Its awesome!!! Certainly well worth the trip
