Nice. Does one then need to buy a new phone with new technology, or can one use the current phones as well? Will nokia also invest in more accurate gps modules for inner city navigaton. Current a-gps has an accuracy of 10-15 meters. Will these technologies be applied to the new windows phone 7 phones as well in 2012?

In response to turnkey. My app does not depend on anything external. It is 100% on the device so will work anywhere - so long as the map of that venue has been built and loaded. Of course there will be things my app cant do that Nokia's can.

So those people who say why do we need this - if thats your opinion then fair enough. However, as long as the mountain is there - some of us will always want to climb it. I don't disagree that this is magnificent technology but it makes me wonder how zombies they are aiming to convert us to. Imagine seeing all people watching a screen to tell them where to go indoors for food, water or even toilet. Also, I've had trouble finding things within buildings and people seem to not be as helpful as I hope the would be. Give Nokia some slack for making it a little easier to navigate indoors.
