  • just by looking at it makes me wanna smoke one. lmao. oh no.

  • Although this particular song could also be the Mamas and the Papas...then again that's not far off from the Lovin' Spoonful at all.

  • Looking back as an adult, the Cattanooga Cats remind me of an animated Lovin' Spoonful. Same style of music and general vibe.

  • Ever notice every cartoon from 1969 either featured a group of young people with musical montages, or a bubblegum rock band?

  • @Nagneto Yeah, I was a kid in 1969 and the band and musical montage parts were my favorite parts of the show. I imagine a lot of kids felt the same way so the shows kept including this sort of thing right on through the early 70s.

  • Who did all the singing for this cartoon?

  • This is the video for "The Right One".

  • I'm sure they recycled this video somewhere.

  • remember when Saturday mornings meant great smoke and and groovy cartoons?

  • kitty jo can curl up in my lap anytime!!!!.......

  • Girl cat moves too sensually

  • This was my favourite cartoon show when I was a kid. This as well as the Banana Splits. Wow do I feel old. lol.

  • @bunnyball08 hey, don't feel bad.....i was nine years old when this show first hit the airwaves, and i enjoyed it quite a bit!!.....for some reason, it just never caught on in a big way(or at least not in a way that HB or ABC hoped it would)......but from the start, this show had "cult favorite" stamped all over it!!.............

  • Kitty Jo has stolen my heart with this song. I am now turning into a Cattanooga Cats fan.

    Thanks for posting, friend.

  • Cool! This is quite a trippy video, yet very cute too. ^.^

  • Kitty Jo,a bonifide sex kitten!

  • she always dances the same

  • Yeah, you gotta love that simplistic 60s/70s cartoon automation. If you look at Archies clips, you'll find the same movements too. Then there's my favorite... The Groovie Ghoulies... man, I love those guys. Old Saturday Morning Cartoons rock!

  • i have hear that some drugs produce visualization of geometric shapes :D

  • Groovy stuff.

Way cool for today´s retarded- yet self-indulgent- audiences.

  • Love that psychedelic animation! Dig that groovy music! Not everything of the psychedelic 60s and early 70s was drug-induced - this stuff was popular, was everywhere, and was considered "cool", thus it was only natural to put it in 'toons!

  • A Very Trippy Saturday Morning Cartoon.
