I remember all of these muppets from when I was a little kid 30+ years ago. The Stabler muppet was originally used as a parody of newsmen and Don Adams (from get smart). The blue guy and benson look like they were modified from other muppets. The Munch muppet was probably made for the skit.

@blindandwatching Yep, the Stabler puppet was originally Guy Smiley, a game show host featured on a few skits in the1980s; the Cragen puppet (the blue guy) looks like he was modified from Grover's restaurant customer (minus the mustache and with different hair and added eyelids). Munch is a custom job and looks spot on. Benson, not so much- and I'm a die hard Mariska fan, but they could've made the puppet look more like her. The hair looks like their using SVU season 11 as the basis.

Perhaps this show, much like many other children's productions, was written to entertain both young children and their parents. This also makes it a lot more fun to actually make the show. Oh man, that was kinda hilarious but where's Tutuola? The Munch muppet was very accurate, Meloni kinda, Mariska not really. And Munch's voice sounds kinda like Richard Belzer with a cold. They sound do a regular thing and have the entire cast. Hell, even get the real actors to do the voices (or at least better ones)
