  • i was watching your stream this morning lololol i didnt even know your youtube

  • @skaterboyrubi Yep! I'm all over. :P

  • Hwo do you remove Dxtory.com when you stream videos?

  • @RedBoiGoi Buy full version.

  • when i press Add camera under add it doesn't have any Dxtory 1 2 3 or 4

  • @LetsPlayers1 In XSplit? If it's not finding Dxtory's cameras, perhaps you installed incorrectly.

  • Thanks for the tutorial, I followed step by step but Dxtory refuses to start a capture for me unless I have both file output and directshow output selected. If I just have directshow selected nothing happens when I use my hotkey. Any ideas?

  • @EddehJeh What are you using to capture your DirectShow? Did you set up the bottom icon buttons?

  • @kur1gaming Do you mean the yellow 'video settings' options? I set those up just like in the video. I can find them in xsplit but the Dxtory tray icon/fps indicator never shows that i'm recording. I've tried this in multiple games (windowed and fullscreen) but it won't work using just directshow output.

  • @EddehJeh Either it's a corrupt install or it's just not being imported to your XSplit properly. I'd post on XSplit's forums. :(

  • @kur1gaming It's definitely a Dxtory issue, because it never says it's recording. I'll try a fresh install or do some more googling. Thanks anyway :D

  • what do we need to click to start recording

  • @MiNe4u2351 The hotkey you have set up in your config. See the keyboard tab.

  • when I give ,,add camera" nothing happens

  • @Parek228 When you "give" add camera? What are you giving? And add camera should only provide cameras if you have them attached.

  • What exactly is the purpose of streaming Xsplit with Dxtory? What are the positives?

  • @AshLionHeart XSplit lags most systems when streaming. Dxtory is a lot more efficient, thus giving higher FPS. There's also built-in HD recording, audio splitting, etc.

  • lol cbf doing all the dxtory stuff. ill just use fraps lol

  • @periplatipus Perfectly fine! :D Dxtory is just there in case Fraps makes your PC churn to a halt, or you want to stream *while* recording (Fraps interferes with Dxtory and other stream programs in certain situations).

  • Good video. Thx!

  • I hit f12 and it doesn't respond when on direct show... idk what's wrong.

  • @zZN1GHTMAIRZz It doesn't always immediately respond. Just keep using your hotkey (not necessarily set to F12!) with the game open. It will eventually activate. If not, contact Dxtory.

  • BTW followed your vid to the notch. So not sure what it is.

  • When I use just xsplit. It works fine. I get the image into the stream and its fine. I do all the same things but while using dxtory. For some reason all my stream shows is Dxtory in blue.

  • @Damingo54 Never heard of a blue-screen issue with Dxtory. If you're not in Fullscreen, my only other assumption is it's not interacting with your video drivers properly or it's configured wrong. Might want to shoot Dxtory an e-mail for support.

  • @kur1gaming I really like your vid and everything worked but when I stream in Dxtory 1 theres a blue text right in everything that say Dxtory for some reason please help me :(

  • @Diirt96 You're using the trial software. Buy the full version to remove the logo.

  • Great video tutorials! Best I've seen on YouTubes Q: @3:15 you say have rez be the same as what you are streaming. I am using this for SC2 on Justin.TV with XSplit. So should this match whatever is checked on View>Resolution on XSplit? i.e. How do I know what I am streaming at? Thanks again.

  • Im having trouble getting wow to show up into my xplit with dxtory. I have the cam shown up on the xplit after adding it. Just cant get wow into it.

  • @Damingo54 Can't have WoW in Fullscreen. Must be Windowed or Windowed (Fullscreen). Beyond that, you need to ensure you have a screen region selected. If you're using Dxtory to pull the image in, that's another issue entirely.

  • This is an awesome video. There is one that I having and its the sound. I can't get it loud enough to hear it. I can barely hear it in the back; the sound is low. Do you know how to fix that problem?

  • @KOFXIKula Umm, do you have Volume from your speakers set to 100 in Dxtory's sound tab? Are any of your game sounds turned down in Windows on the volume slider? Otherwise, make sure your game's sound is up. Are you streaming via XSplit and have that sound turned up as well?

  • @kur1gaming Hey! Everything works fine in xsplit, but in FMLE I am having problems.

  • @KOFXIKula Then I'd suggest checking all sound settings in FMLE. Sadly, I don't use the program for streaming so I can't offer any specific help. :(

  • When is the tut for recording coming out? :p I'm recording i dont lag in-game but when i look back at the clip it's really laggy and miss alot of frames. My spec's aren't to great but, 6GB 2.60Ghz AMD phenom (tm) II x4 810 processor. Help please :p

  • Thanks! I had like 5 fps because dxtory set true quality, now it runs well! liked and fav!

  • @TheGamer612 Glad it got fixed! I take it you're recording? The codec quality shouldn't have an impact on the streaming stuttering (as far as I'm aware).

  • Where can I find my videos that I have saved?

  • @Banaan12Gaming Recording with Dxtory will be another tutorail, but look for a folding lid icon tab and see what Dxtory's using for your capturing folder. If that doesn't help, wait a little till I can finish my recording tutorial.

  • Any chance of a tutorial of what codec/settings you use when rendering video? Also what do you use for editing?

  • @arlenwoot Rendering video (during recording) = Dxtory's default codec. I just bump it down to Low Quality, since even at that it looks great without taking up all my HDD's transfer rate. Editing is in Vegas/Camtasia. :D

  • @kur1gaming I mean after you've recorded something and its been edited in Vegas. What codec/settings do you use then?

  • @arlenwoot Ah, I referenced tgn.tv/sony-vegas-1080p-guide-by-zabermoul/. For specific setting that work for your PC, you might need to tweak some stuff.

  • @kur1gaming Awesome, thanks!

  • Can you do this with a console.........xbox?

  • @TrizzyC Dxtory is for PC game streaming/recording only as far as I'm aware. You need a capture card (Black Magic / Hauppauge are recommended brands) for console capture.

  • Please help me.

I can only stream while recording.

Is there a way to fix that?

  • @TheBasicUnit You have both File Output and DirectShow Output checked then. Take off File Output.

  • @kur1gaming When i do that, i get a black screen while starting DxTory, the game only shows when i check both :S

  • @TheBasicUnit Hummmmm. Then in that case, you might not have the Output set up properly. Did you make sure to click the bottom-left yellow screen-shaped icon and set up Output 1?

  • Super guide, thanx for helping me

  • great guide Kuri, always nice having more options streaming!

  • Awesome. But what I want to know is, why is it showing "Dextroy.com" on my stream?

  • @SniperJDM Because you have the trial version. Didn't mention in the video, but this is not free software. But worth the $37 if you're serious about streaming / recording.

  • Get a background jezzz, that looks so bad hehehe

  • @lerogero Nevar!

  • @kur1gaming haha i got you to get a background

  • Hey Kur1 thanks you for making this tutorial ;)

  • Thank you! :)

  • Thanks for posting this
