@CPGiveAwaysAndCoins - They kept him on on a ventilator for 3 days. On the 3rd day I held him as he died; his tiny heartbeat slowed to nothing.

Iowa State Univ. killed him by keeping him under anesthesia too long. They put him under for a mylogram, THEN LEFT HIM UNDER FOR 2-3 HOURS, then STARTED surgery. They surgery went well but his tiny body couldn't take being under for so long.

This is heart breaking! I lost my little one this last year also.

I'm sorry sorry for your pain. I don't believe God would put all that love in our hearts and then just take them away forever.

I hope you are able to live each day knowing your little one waits for you and that untill then you can fill your life with more special little ones. He wouldn't want you to be alone or sad. You know he would never want you sad. DIdn't he always try to cheer you up?

Why did I click on this vid? I heard the song and thought, Hmmm, a happy vid. WRONG! I am very sorry to know that your dog passed. I have dogs of my own and can only imagine. I guess it's just a part of life and I wish all your other dogs long and healthy lives. Sorry again, just wanted to comment on a nice tribute video.

I'm crying right now I am soo sorry for you Gino. My puppy, Rumple (english bulldog) has to have eye surgery done tomorrow morning because his cornia is scratched and my other english bully, Mylee (yes i named her after miley cyrus) ran away. and someone played a sick joke on us saying that he saw a bully that fit the desc. of Mylee and said she was dead.. we did not find her dead though as a matter of fact we didn't find her at all... but good luck he will always be with you. :)

I am so sorry for you and for Gino. i was searching chihuahua and surgery cause mine is about to have dsurgery and i saw your story and watched your video and cried for you. I know he's an angel for you, but I know that doesn't take the pain away. What a sweet, precious dog he was! I'm so sorry, again.

Losing our loved ones is so painful. My heart goes out to you. I love my little girl toy poodle so deeply and can only imagine how helpless you felt. Prayers did not fail...it's just the way of the natural world. Gino's in your heart forever and his spirit will be around you. :)

OH thank you! What kills me more is that we just found out they had him under anesthesia for a myelogram at about 12 noon till about 2pm, then KEPT HIM UNDER for about another 2 hrs! THEN started surgery! He was out of surgery at about 5:15pm and could no longer wake up! I read Chihuahuas shouldn't be under for much more than 2 hrs! I don't know what to do!! I think their irresponsibility and poor judgement killed my baby, my little baby boy

I know how it is to lose someone special. Even that i am not religious i will still pray for him. And remember that he is not gone. He is not there body wise but he is always with you in your heart. When they took him off the respirator I kept thinking he would suddenly look up at me even in the last seconds as his heart slowed down to nothing.

I held him while he died. He looked so sweet, so calm, and so completely peaceful. I just can't believe he's gone; I miss him so much. I keep thinking he's behind me.
