  • had a 2001 example and loved it for touring. The comment about showing it who's boss is quite right. I still do an occasional ride with the guys who have GSX1400s even though I'm now 3 bikes removed.

I did a 1000 kms in a day no sweat on that bike.

  • 好车啊

  • i fell in love

  • Great bike.

  • ifyou wanna go from cafe to cafe why not who are you ? the , for wot reason do you have a bike police? we just love bikes ! go do your thing , please !!

  • what a great bike

wish it were available in canada

  • White color is kind of aseptic . I prefer blue white combo preferably with white rims ( K1) . I drive K7 and bike is great.

  • Oh and gutless ? Sluggish ? LOL. Obviously never ridden one, just a hater.

What makes me laugh is the people who buy Busa's and R1's then just puttputt around the city on them from cafe to cafe. What's the point ?

  • @wintermutecaboose ..and that in a super stylish leather combo :)) . I have the GSX 1400 and before that I had the Yamaha XJR 1200. I love both bikes, they are real bikes.

  • @wintermutecaboose I know someone with a Hayabusa who does just that, lol. Dresses like a power ranger and can`t ride shit. Couldn`t keep up with a Type R civic on a 10 mile stretch of road. Not the bikes fault obviously.

  • You cant compare it to a Busa you morons, they're totally different bikes. Well of COURSE the Busa is going to handle better it's much more of a racer, the 14 is a sports tourer.

If you think the 14 handles badly, you don't know how to ride. The 14 requires you grab it by he scruff of the neck and show it who's boss. The best thing - you can ride it from sunrise to sunset and not get a sore back, shoulders neck, wrists, that you would on a Busa or any other wannabe racer bike.

    Love my 14.

  • hahaha you must ride like a pussy

  • He said 250k's to the tank, I throught it was closer to 350km, am I wrong ?

  • @Mrkneeslider I have one of these a 2003 model and the fuel efficiency is not too good, but for pleasure of ride its brilliant.

  • Good review, very accurate and true. THe only small thing is the suspension settings are not all adjustable "at the touch of a finger". The rear preload and compression dampening are but all other settings need screwdrivers or spanners. Great work though all the same.

  • Great clip- you've captured the bike well here...;)

  • I love my 1400!

  • Yeah man - it's an awesome looking bike!

  • Best paint job since the k2. I lurve ma 14!
