  • @muddus88 we do have a paper copy but I can't put a direct link to it here because YouTube won't let me post URLs.

If you Google for "Bike Touring Survival Guide In Print" you'll find a post we did, with a direct link to the print ordering form.

    Thanks for your interest.

  • I'm a bit traditional when it comes to reading so I'd like to buy you book in the traditional paper format. Your website indicates that there is a paper copy but I can't find any detailed info.

  • Awesome. I hope you make a documentary someday. By the way, which bike do you think one should ride around the world a dual sport hybrid or a touring bike? Thanks.

  • вело туризм это сила))

  • Hi,i'm from serbia and i would like to buy your book,is there this book in serbian and where can i buy it?

  • @xosobanekogodiste hi! the book is only in English. you can get it from our website (mentioned in the video; YouTube won't let me post a URL here)

  • @horsesshotatdawn our trip cost - all up - about $23pp / pd. There's a post on our site if you Google for it: "How Much Does Bike Touring Cost? We do the math." - I can't seem to post a link here.

  • It is a foolish man that doesn't listen to what someone wise has to say. I will be purchasing your book. Just out of interest -how much did your trip cost? Minus lost earnings etc.

  • Even free things have a cost: time lost to do other things, lost income (we also have bills to pay), etc. We believe we've struck the right balance between price and value, and we already offer a great deal of free information (including a book!) on our website. Sorry you feel it's too expensive, but we still wish you all the best on your bike tour. Perhaps someday you will fill the gap by writing a free guide to bike touring, and when you do, we'll be happy to promote it on our site. Take care.

  • you can do anything if you put your mind to it.... which is your advice on taking a bike tour for 60000 km. Im sure if you put your mind to it, you could have found a way to write a free book...

  • Sorry you feel that way. Nice things don't come free unfortunately (we took time off from our paying jobs to write it). If we had to write it for free we couldn't have done it at all. Search for reviews and you'll see that many people feel it's great value for money and that we've priced it very reasonably compared to other bike touring books. You can tour without a guidebook but a bit of money spent on advice is often quickly repaid. We read other guidebooks before we left.

  • would be a nice free guide, but your just going for the cash. Might as well read articles on the internet and then set out for an adventure just like you did without spending your money to read someone elses journey. Then write your own book and try to sell it like these guys. In fact why dont you try to sell you book to these guys. and vice versa.

  • @rwhaney77 Other than some real basic common sense tips (think "expert village"), the best information on bike touring is unfortunately buried in online journals. If their book is less of a trip journal and more condensed down to teaching from their personal experience, reading it would at least be one hell of a time saver. They have a product and they're marketing it. Good for them, hope they sell a million.

  • the best teacher is... experience. And you guys have it. Safe Travels!
