Ive just recently became a fan of street fighter, I usually enjoy watching these fights but i didnt like this one, it consisted of them mostly using projectiles until he used Fei Long but even then ryu was just steady pumpin them out is this how the tournament fights usually go?

@lanceealot1111 yes it is when it comes to pros playing street fighter its not about looking flashy and doing amazing combos its all about winning spamming projectiles may look cheap but it is part of the character's strategy

Doing much projectiles is good in many ways, but can easily be punished sometimes. I use it alot with Dhalsim, since its important to keep the enemy away, but its all about using it when needed ofc

You know sagat is like nerfed alot in this SF so he actually has a different style now since in SFIV his uppercuts take ALOT from ur health. But i still think the uppercut is nerfed too much, it shud atleast do as much damage as Ryu's Shryouken.

The hatred of Sagat is from 'Vanila', where your statement is not necessarily the case, as many pro El Fuerte's [eg Dawgtanian, TKD] get FADC ultra'd once in the whole game after 5-6 attempts, and lose 2/3rds HP, compared to El Fuerte hitting less damage than an uppercut with each of his mixups.

People will always have something to bitch about, unfortunately.

@Subass36 but look at the dmg on Sagats combos compared to vanilla.his combos tickle now,his ultra dmg was scaled down,hes still just as slow,nerfed TU dmg and TS dmg,not to mention every1 got a nerf on DP's across the board which affects him the most.hes a powerful character,but A+ tier at best,no way is this Sagat S tier imo.

Nice to see Mago is still beasting with Sagat. That ultra with Fei in round 1 was a smart (and necessary) gamble, but it's clear he has to work so much harder with that character--as scary as he is.
