Gus G is really a great guitarist, and not only that, but a great guy. I really like what he does for everyones music, whether it's Randys, Jakes, or Zakks. And as a guitarist myself, I look up to all of these guys, and Gus as well.

I was at this show! fuckin amazing. gus g is a great player, not as good as Zakk or Randy but he is still great. Im not sure about his song writing skills though...Scream was crap in my personal opinion. Im not sure how much he wrote.

Yes Gus has obviously decided to base his live solo on Zakk's... And NO it's not because of some silly reason like "Gus G is copying Zakk", or "Gus G sucks cuz he can't come up with his own ideas" or any other ridiculous sh*t like that.

To me it's the ultimate show of respect to Zakk by Gus... He worships Zakk, and he knows that alot of Ozzy fans are hostile to any new guitarist... It happened to Jake E. Lee and Zakk...

To me, it shows Gus is a humble guy & knows he's fillin giant shoes

Ozzy knew what he was doing when he hired this guy. Suddenly his band is ALIVE again. I'm sorry, but Zakk was dead boring the last few years that he was with Ozzy. If there hadn't been a change I probably wouldn't have gone to see another Ozzy-gig ever again. Thanks to Gus G, who brought some ENERGY back into the band, I'm going right out on the road this summer to check out 6 shows all over Europe. Sometimes things have to change. This time it was for the better.
