just saying the strongest unit in w is mazinkaiser and great mazinger during first playthrough thanks to dbf and fds + mazinpower closely followed by shin getter. all 3 has pseudo-soul in form of fighting spirit + valor. during second pt, valzacard takes over with soul + f spirit combo or soul + valor stacking. to clarify at 400 stats, kaiser does 42k with final kaiser blade and 48k with nova. valzacard does 46k with EXA nova shoot over
anyone else think the moves used by the original chars and their mech in SRW K have german names? "Linendlech" sounds so...well, cool, but a little german.
Or maybe its just me?
anyway, attack was more kickass than most I've seen in SRW.
Like a fighting combo, it seemed like it'd never end.
Not that it really matters, but this looks rather stacked. Stats aren't even remotely comparable (which can be fixed on Sousuke's end through multiple playthroughs), and I can't imagine that that tiny grunt had the same armor as one of W's most durable ones. I've no intention of playing K, so I'm not sure where the other guy stands here, but Sousuke's also lacking in Gunfight.
I can imagine this is the result of a one-run playthrough, but that much of a gap in stats makes a big difference.
Yes, K stats scale higher, but this is also true for enemies in K. It won't make up the gap 100% due to Skill Part boosts and the +10 bonus per 100 kills, but...
I was really trying to point out the difference that base power on a weapon makes with similar abilities, even if Krystall Heart is technically a little bit weaker, but it seems I misrepresented myself.
Still there's a huge damage gap, when Sousuke has SOUL... I guess Seishin isn't counted in the ability somehow?
Also, as for the enemies, they both have 1300 armor, with the K enemy having a 1000 damage barrier.
..Now that I think about it though, Mist's mecha is a medium, possibly fighting a Small (I forget), with Sousuke's Small fighting a Medium (Or Large?). This was before I knew that Ignore Size Penalty doesn't work in W.
I don't think it matters; it's not so much that Ignore Size Difference doesn't work so much as there's no size penalty in the first place, if I remember correctly, but it's been awhile since I've played W.
Of course, the one thing that's stacked against Sousuke more than anything is that he isn't an Original, I s'pose.
Hmmm...also, the name of the attack is wrong. While I don't own SRW K, all the other videos translate the attack as Regret Buster. Krystal Heart is the name of the second strongest, I believe.
No, in SRW, only the main pilot's stats matter. (Kazuma in W, Mist in K.) The ONLY exception is Aquarion in SRW Z, due to an ability that uses the higher stats among the three pilots when they hit 130 will.
It just gives a barrier that nullifies damage below a certain amount. It starts at 1500 damage for 5 EN at 120 will, and goes all the way up to 3000 damage for 15 EN at 170 will.
Well, I did a comparison with both using 5900 damage attacks (Boxer and Air Exire), both using Hot Blood and enemies with 1500 armor, and they did around 35000 (with Rex doing 4000 more due to a size advantage).
There's also stats and such; which Mist has higher stats in general. So they're rather equal seemingly. Which attack type is Air Exire again? Since if ranged, then Crystal heart is a bit weaker (Mist has a slightly higher ranged stat)
I suspect the damage calcuations are different since Mist has much more Melee stat than Sousuke's ranged stat... that implies something about crystal heart is weaker....
No, no. See, in W, you have BP to spend on skills.
In K, all skills are raised by level up, save from some parts.
Enemies also keep pace, statwise, so really, the enemies should be around the same range. The difference is that while Mist has had maybe +10 to Melee, Sousuke has had all his 52 BP in Ranged.
Well, Solvrias would take the win since you can increase the pilot's stat to 999 in SRW K, and also, there's a damage cap of 60000 (a little higher, I forgot) in SRW W.

It's "Unendlich". Which means "Infinite". Kinda sounds appropriate, eh?

It was meant to be a damage comparison based on what they're both capable of in one play.
It was meant to be a damage comparison compared on what both of them will probably have at that point, but here's some things I tried to control.
Terrains are equal. Enemies have A in their terrains, and Sosuke/Mist have S in their terrains (Attack and Mech).
Both are without their Infight/Gunfight skills that they could get from parts. (I gave Gaiking Gunfight for Serpent Buster. Did that ever backfire.)

>_> Krystall Heart Sword is the second strongest attack. I'm comparing the damage abilities the two mechs have, not their attacks.

Does having an S rank in terrain increase damage? I thought it just increased accuracy and dodge. Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention...
SupremeBogus 2 years ago
If the weapon terrain rank is S in the terrain you're attacking into, then you get a damage boost.
Netmonmatt 2 years ago
From what i see...
It must be better if they compare both of each SRW K and W Originals...
Form me W originals final mech has much more fire power because its consist of more than 2 pilot giving it a boost on every pilots stats..
In K, the two pilots has also boost each others stat..right?

What part did you give Sousuke to enable his robot to fly? I can't read japanese.

Think it's been proven more so... not sure it'd be a good idea to check the gamefaqs boards and such.

O_O Omg! Sousuke can do that damage, just in time this video! I can replaying the SrwW, next time that I get Will at 170, I will give to him.
GabrielSenpai 2 years ago
Crystal Heart does 1.5x damage at 170 will, not 1.7x. It's only 1.3x at 150 will.
The Lambda Drive caps out at 1.5x too, with everything past 150 just making the barrier stronger, if I remember right.
SpoonyGundam 2 years ago
I wasn't 100% sure about the damage multipliers, to be quite honest. Also, I honestly wonder how the defense version of Krystall Heart works.
Netmonmatt 2 years ago
It just gives a barrier that nullifies damage below a certain amount. It starts at 1500 damage for 5 EN at 120 will, and goes all the way up to 3000 damage for 15 EN at 170 will.
SpoonyGundam 2 years ago
Do the foes in have similar defenses and such? Also K is more generous with damage it seems at times.
ReiKusanagi 2 years ago
Well, I did a comparison with both using 5900 damage attacks (Boxer and Air Exire), both using Hot Blood and enemies with 1500 armor, and they did around 35000 (with Rex doing 4000 more due to a size advantage).

From what I see in the vid,
Melee: Sousuke's 202 vs Mist's 313
Ranged Sousuke's 258 vs Mist's 299
Stats in SRW K tend to go higher than W's by default.
ReiKusanagi 2 years ago
Yes. And I poured all of Sousuke's BP into ranged.
Mist has +10 all stats from having 100 kills, and I believe +10 in Melee from skill parts.
Netmonmatt 2 years ago
Well, Solvrias would take the win since you can increase the pilot's stat to 999 in SRW K, and also, there's a damage cap of 60000 (a little higher, I forgot) in SRW W.

65535. But this is more of a "end of first playthrough, max damage if not favorited" comparison.
Netmonmatt 2 years ago
Hmmm, interesting findings. But then again it's all about pilot stats (BTW do they both have size ignore modifier?)
lionel6910 2 years ago
In W, there's a glitch that makes size not matter at all, even if you don't have size modifier ignore.
And, yes sire. Solvrias is full of much Pwnage and win.
MechagirlSachiko 2 years ago
Certain attacks have an inate ignore size.... that and the AR-7; isn't that a small compared to the Solvrias' medium?
