  • Very nicely done, always wondered how it was done without unhooking the trailer!

I have a question for the drivers who do this for a living. What are your thoughts on these automated manual transmissions now available in new trucks? Do they make life easier for drivers or are they unsafe because they now allow less skilled drivers behind the wheel? I'd be very interested in your comments.

    Cheers

  • wauuu,,profi

  • This guy not only has some mean driving skill he has some mean video skill too. I don't think you could have put the camera in a better place to capture all the action. And the tempo of the music seemed just right for what he was demonstrating. Great job mackjack525.

  • Two people can't drive.....

  • good driving but being me i would of as i come around you were in position to back the truck in first , turn it into the bin , unload it , and then drive forward and unload the dog , theres no law that you have to unload trailer first , you watch as you come past the bin you are in position as if you were to bring it back on itself but good video and driving

  • I like it, just bought a transfer rig and at first I had trouble backing but with practice and more practice I can pull in to tight places. The quarry on kauai is limited to space for such a long truck.

    ALOHA

    DIRTPRO

  • when u dump ur second box u must turn your steering wheel towards your wagon(dog) then it will be good job . rest is quite impressive buddy

  • This is the way we tip a truck & dog or super dog (quod dog) like this one, there is no other way in a tight area, when you do something every day it becomes natural & easy I to drive one of these for a living..

  • Exeptionellt good drivers, I like it

    Thore

  • It is a "TRUCK + PUP" not dog.

  • @Tincan410 its a dog is australia

  • @mackjack525 Didn't this same video have better music before? Very impressive driving, by the way. And that's a pretty sharp looking rig. Thanks for posting it.

  • Thats the most impressive bit of reversing of a dolly trailer I have ever seen, Please tell me whats the secret, and how long does it take to be that tastey, I've only ever reversed a 40ft trailer with a semi or tractor unit. Top Marks to the video.

  • Nice job mate,,,It's very hard to do it on one shot!!!Amazing

  • all i can say is well done my friend, this video helped me alot in my own job,but i have a long way to go till i can do it like you,one smooth hit no back and forward shit, makes me so jealious but gives me a challenge to lose ahah..great vid jack, make sure you bring us plenty of vids even vids from the maintainebce side or show us how you keep them all polished up(maybe even the white kenworth)cheers jason

  • Wish we could get our guys to just be able to back up a trailer dump.Nice job wheeling that girl around.

  • I look at this and still dumb-founded you got serious mad skills

  • wouldnt wana put a B-double in there lol

  • Great style landing! We unfortunately do not have this device, we need to land on its side, or disconnect the lift. This is great!

  • no man the driveing is really good i mean the unloading im in maryland we dont have trailers like that here i have a pete triaxle well when im driveing im a gradall operater since i have a cdl when theres nothin to do with my 4100 i drive i would never claim to be a truck driver

  • I haven't watched this in a while. Thought I would check it out one more time and it still impresses me! At first it must have been very odd to look out the drivers window and see your pup RIGHT next to you and it's still hooked up...:)

  • It's a much worse if you look out the window & see the trailer beside you & it's NOT still hooked up.....LOL

    Thanks Badass!!

  • THAT IS FUNNY AS HELL

  • @mr7badass

...or going down hill at 50-60 mph on snow with the trailer beside you LOL, been there, done that! :)

  • @Alkysix glad it was you and not me! that would not be fun, thanks for the comment.

  • hell of a driver looks like a real pain in the ass tho

  • a no mamen que chingon es ese operador que no desengancho e que chido

  • Finally a decent video of a truck and quad wagon dumping. :)

  • I have worked around trucks for over 35 yrs and I still get a buzz when I see a exceptional truck and dog driver at work.

    All the best, fantastic!!!!!!!!!

  • Impressive..... Most Impressive!!

  • That is some great driving there!! Well done.

  • Fuck! Now that is good driving!

  • nice way to do it , here in Denmark and also rest of nothern europe, we have lots of 3 ways tipper, with a kombination like this , we would either side dump the truck or have to uncouple the dog, thats due to the short draw bars we have, due to lenghts restrictions.

    cheers Haustan

  • when i saw this i must have looked away i says how he drop that pup so fast then when you pulled out my jaw just dropped what a wheel man

  • that was cool ....very nice unit

  • thats a great way to see if your tail lights work!

  • Even my wife says well done!

  • holy crap that is amazing

  • Great backing skills mate. That's about the equivelant of backing a trailer and dolly onto the 2nd trailer of a road train on the blind side...........hard.

Do you guys ever bend draw bars? Or use lock-up turntables on the dollys? Not being in the tipper game I wouldn't know.

  • awesome!

  • WOW! That was sweet!

  • Oh yeah, FAV too!

  • Now there is a guy who can drive a truck!

  • Wow, nice driving skills! You got that dog parallel with the truck in one smooth maneuver. Nice truck too. Thanks for the message.

  • thats badass i drive just a end dump, thats some good driving there, im sure that takes alot of skill

    nice vid thanks!

  • Thats a Pro at work.

  • Nice set up.

  • Whats that..

I never saw some one backing a truck like that..

    FAV...

  • my mother always liked to say..

Wash you hands after playing in the sand..I hope you do..lol

  • Yep, I'm back Jack... and while I've watched the vids you posted in my absence, I'm drawn back to this one! I'd really like to see a closeup of the drawbar and how they have run the plumbing and control lines.

  • Well well my old mate J........hehe love your work jack, and the way you three keep those trucks are real credit to ya!!!

P.S Your really gone all pro with the vids mate great stuff!! :P

  • NO seriously! You are incredible...I wont tell anyone that you had been practicing. Looks just like a walk in the park. AMAZING!! STUPENDOUS..... I am in complete awe..... (how was that?) I got more compliments if you need them..

    :)

  • I wouldn't tell you this in front of Jack, LT, but he did a VERY sweet job of it! It is a breeze with a 3 axle dog, but them thar quad dogs aren't quite as co-operative!

He deserves your praise and the praise of those who have appfreciated his skill.

  • NO WAY!!!! That kicks ass! Couldn't do that, especially here in the US. I'd probably end up snapping the drawbar in half. XD

  • Your My Hero!!! That was awesome !! Had to fave this one!!

  • Wow that was impressive backing up and one great looking Mack too. AWESOME video!!!

  • wow, that's really impressive.. how many drawbars have you bent? lol

  • Brilliant job and one hell of a driver, i thought i was quite good till i saw this..lol..

  • great Job mate.. made it look easy!!!!!

Something Id love to try .....but ultimately fail at...lol

    ***** save2fave

  • Love this vid! I keep watchin' over and over waiting for you to make a mistake!

  • I wonder how I might have known? Could it be that I used to work for Pioneer Building materials doing the same work for 9 years????

That, of course, was when it still WAS Pioneer and not whatever their name is this week!!!!!!!!

  • Hanson maybe?

  • Well .... that was the name just before I left them! By now it could be anything! ROTFL

  • Now THAT, viewers, is how to do a ground tip with a quad dog with gravel sides. You can;t really do it with grain trailers because the doors are too long.

I would recommend this as a training video (if it has a couple of additional camera angles) because that was a textbook tip!

    Great stuff, Jack!

  • So, are the grain trailer doors really too long? Or is that just a clever excuse?

    LOL

  • I thought it was a pretty good one, actually! Rather than defend myself, though, I will let Jack confirm or deny! lol

It IS possible, but not recommended to do so - my excuse and I am sticking with it!

  • uh huh....always full of something....Just happens to be excuses this week!!

    wink wink.....

    8-)

  • Practicing? Yeah! Like 6 loads a day! Good job and I like the definition of the camera!

  • Very nicely done Jack. I am impressed man. Did you shoot this with the new camcorder? I thought I had subscribed to your page but I hadnt, my fault...Have a good one Jack, great vid

  • Hey mackjack, let me just say excellent driving there man i have never seen anyone back up like that man nice. the way you got the Dog(Trailer) to swing around like that to unload the truck that's sweet. 5 stars...

  • hiya mate how you doing well i hope great video 5 stars

  • Great drivin' shown in a great video! Thank you...
