At some point hopefully in the near future socialistic measures will be taken. These measures will make it impossible for someone like me to post an intelligent comments. The reason will be self evident to most. . .
@abt7217tc Every fucking 1960s rock video I go on has the same comments from you over and over again. Is it necessary to leave a comment saying you like the video every time you watch it??
@abt7217tc `Personally your comments really cheer me up. I love being able to share my collection with people who appreciate them. Its a bit of work going from VHS to DVD to mp4 and try and keep the quality up.
@abt7217tc It's good to see the original band. Clark, McGuinn, and Crosby are three iconic individuals in American music and enjoyed extremely successful careers.
the only reason i posted this comment was because i was tired of looking at the other one. when u watch this everyday, u get tired of reading the same thing.
The Byrds were one of the most influential bands of their era. there's no reason to quibble over McGuinn and Clark and Hillman. Bands don't last. The Beatles lasted seven years from the time Ringo joined. How many guitarists have the Stones been through? It's hard. Music is a great force, and, like all great forces, takes its toll. I'm glad I was a teenager in the sixties, and a young man in the seventies. All respect. today's music blow goats compared to what we had. Thank God for recordings.
It's really a shame how Chris Hillman was ignored in both of these. You could hardly even see that he was there. It's ironic that his active career has outlasted all the rest of the original Byrds. What a storied career: Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, Manassas, Souther-Hillman-Furay, McGuinn-Clark & Hillman, The Desert Rose Band as well as many solo outings.
@tim3572 its because he wasn't smiling or dancing around like an asshole. john entwistle had the same issue. but i dont think either of them gave a shit. they're just too cool.
Tom Petty covered Feel A Whole Lot Better and really shouldn't have artistically but glad he exposed it to a new generation. Dylan's It's All Over Now Baby Blue was dumped for Turn, Turn, Turn! for the 2ond. single release as as legend goes, they refined it in the studio for weeks on end during the winter of '66 'till it was right!
@whocares1694 " turn turn turn" wasn't thier second single release.....I own the second release "all I really Want to do" written by Dylanalso released by Sonny and Cher about the same time as the Byrds AND IT CHARTED HIGHER than the Byrds version , such was the teenie-bopper taste back then. I am from that era. I know what is stated here is fact
i think ive accounted for at least 10000 of this vids views.

@whocares1694 With the royalty money from TP covering this song, Gene relapsed and died two years later. Bummer, RIP Gene Clark.
