lol, this game. I got it when i was a kid, but we never even read the rules. Those dice went straight into our D&D pool (which still consists of more d6s than anything else). We would just move the damn weapons closer until we could actually hit something.

One thing you failed to mention is how often the weak spots wouldn't trigger, even if you hit them directly. I'm glad we skipped the rules, because you could hit that damn shield five times before it actually lowered the drawbridge!

This game looks so cool! I wish it had been released in Brazil. I remember playing "toy wars" with my childhood friends. We even had castles, dragons, etc. However, there were no rules at all. Most of time, we were just lying on floor making strategies. No real battles like this one. No winners. But we always had a lot of fun.
