Im so excited to see my teeth come out this perfect. :) Got my powerbands tightened yesterday and got rubberbands for the first time. 13 months to go!

I love this I guess this is how pretty my teeth are gonna be I got my top ones on in April 2011 and they started hurting really bad and. It ring my lip and last Thursday I got my bottom braces and I can't eat and they cut the whole inside of my mouth. BTW ur very pretty

At first I believed braces don't do anything but my mom was the typical nerd with thick rimmed glasses and traditional braces in middle school plus she was always 1st in everything so when i was really small i used to think braces and glasses make u smart lol but anyway now braces are much more compact so im hoping it goes well.Did I mention im getting them next month?

@ChrisCurlyMay11 Wow thank you so much for this lovely comment, and thank you soo much! You are supposed to wear your retainer for at least a year I think. In the beginning you are supposed to wear it as much as possible, then after 6 months or so you only need to wear it at night! I have had my braces off for a while and I still need to wear a retainer every night, or else my teeth will shift. And they are easily removable!

@D4rkKiller8 no i does not hurt when you get your braces off! it just feels like pressure is being applied to your teeth, but to be honest it feels great, because you are getting your braces off. maybe you had something wrong with your braces or they had to be adjusted, that sometimes hurts a bit!

wow i just got braces a month ago and i appreciate how you showed that your gap had gotten bigger. Right now it feels like my gaps and teeth are getting bigger and dropping so i guess its all apart of the process.Stuff has to happen first before it can get better. Hey! Ah i am so sorry, but i really have no idea, it was so long ago. But overall it was in a span of 2 years! The gap took a very long time to close, probably a year and a half until it was completely closed. I am sorry i didn't have more info, hope this somewhat helped!

I still have my braces..have had them not that long and now am in the stages of them taking them off in stages :P I remember I never had a gap in my front two teeth, then they made one..and I was SO UPSET! @hancat777 Aw thank you soo much! Just make sure you take care of your braces as well as possible! The first few weeks your braces will still be adjusting so try not to eat hard foods or candy so your braces do not break! For colors I would go with anything! However the light colors have a tendency to wear down and turn yellow :)

@kellywilson98 Aw thank you so much! :) And dont worry, theres nothing to be scared about! I really didnt mind having them on, i sort of liked it. As for drinks, you can pretty much drink anything, but i would stay away from coffee because it stains your braces and turns them brownish, but if you do not mind that then its fine! Also smoothies tend to get stuck in your braces if there are pieces of fruit in it, so just watch out for that. And as for food towards the beginning and after a new type
