Woww I am so completely surprised by Gyuri's vocals! I was honestly under the impression that no one in Kara had good vocals, and they all would sound like Hara when they sing live ballads. So glad I'm wrong! Even though Gyuri's pitch isn't that great, there's so much emotion in this song, i lvoe the way she sings here, far better than when I listen to...say, Hyorin when she's trying to show off.

To me, i feel that both Gyuri and Taeng are both good. Not forgetting the original singer of course. I feel that Gyuri showed more emotions and feelings while singing this song. I honestly felt more 'touched' by Gyuri's voice. Taeng's singing on the other hand, is more soothing, its not sad. Taeng sang as if she was serenading someone but Gyuri sang as if she lost someone... However, i think it is evident that Taeng has better vocal skills and utilization(:

i usua;lly don't like singers using soft half voices at the start of the song - they usually are breathy - but Gyuri managed to avoid the breathiness - producing a focused sound - her only problem was stretching for the low notes - but this was probably necessary to keep the high notes within her range - and the high notes challenged her too - but she's more pleasant to listen to than many other KPop singers - and nicer to look at than just about anyone
