To all those complaining it is slow, this is NOT the Nokia N9! Try running Windows 7 on a Pentium1 machine, you'll get the same results. Other than that, on a personal note, I would say MeeGo is slowly heading towards the right direction. It is still a very prematured version, impatiently waiting for the release. Also, one thing Meego BETTER have, is Maemo's amazing multitasking dashboard. I hate the fact you see almost a fullscreen preview of an app, better see them ALL at once! It better...

The device is good, the hardware is spot on. Would have been better if the demo show the capability of the camera and video play back resolution. The OS is terribly slow. I have a feeling, Is it me or the N9 will be getting this processor?

I see there's no MMS option.
Contact looks nice and simple.
I hope this isn't landscape mode only like the Maemo 5 on N900.
Photo Viewer looks good.
Probably still need more works on Settings...
Chatting accounts looks like they're on the right track.
Multitask is similar to Symbian^3. It's usable.... But showing 4 or more apps at once is probably more practical. I prefer Maemo 5 multitask.
Overall it looks good :D

A bit slow but it's a beta, almost no optimization required and i think it looks awesome, might buy one of their MeeGo phones, looks awesome.

@tochistube meego is more like the evolution of Maemo, just as maemo was the evolution of OS2008,
Don't forget that now with meego we're developing for ARM and Moorestown (x86?) it is x86 still isn't it?
