Also, Obama's church reminds me of the Westboro Baptist Church. Most everyone agrees that the followers of that church are nutjobs, yet why are they not sketched out by Obama being a member of a church that preaches similar hatred? Obama rubs me the wrong way. Is it not easy to understand that a preacher to an oppressed people would use uplifting, loud speaches!? And if you listen to his message he preaches hating the sin, not the sinner. Thus we have a message of fighting the status quo, changing what is not right, and this is a biblically sound message. How do you equate Rev. Wrights comments to Obama's beliefs when it comes to the United States? Just because Obama attends the same church, does not mean he co-signs everything the preacher says. Obama was a member of that church for 20 years, he put Rev. Wright on his campaign in an advisory role. How is this not agreeing with what Rev. Wright said. And if he had so many disagreements why did he do all of this? Why has he spoken so glowingly about him until the past week? And why do ppl say that it is just Black culture?
