How far are the poles stuck into the ground?I fish for flatheads on Clarks Hill Lake....its very common to catch em in the 30-40lb range(due to hardly anyone fishing for them).....do u think this setup will hold em at that size?
i stick them in pretty good were if i pull hard they can't come out with a big tyg. Yes this set up is good. Earlier this year caugh a 35 lb blue on it and some other good size fish. Had one hook bent. Make sure your hooks aren't rusty replace every year. Thanks for watching

what top of poles are you using, when i do bank lines we do willow poles but i dont know if what you were using were better
